Most Invicta Bolt Zeus watches have a quartz movement and require a battery. I'm not sure there is any Zeus with a mechanical movement that needs winding. A jewelry store should be able to change the battery for a small fee if that's what it needs.

SOURCE: Automatic Watch Stops

There can be hundereds of causes why your watch isn't working properly, so, I'll not name them.
One is clear- without help of skilled watchmaker your watch will NEVER work properly.
NOTE: It may sound very strange, but mechanical watches do NOT like to be left without job.
Next time you decide to leave mechanical watch aside for long time- do not forget to wind it up once in a 2-3 days even if you are not wearing it.
This will help to prolong watch movements life and keep timekeeping steady and accurate.

SOURCE: problem winding a Invicta Skeloton Mechanical Stainless Watch

The Tag Heur repair center says an automatic watch must go through an "initiation" process. They recommend winding manually 40 revolution of the crown clockwise. You must wear an automatic watch at least eight hours per day. Repat the initiation if the watch is not worn for 20 hours or so.

I have looked too and can only find their Florida address.

This is unusual, as most makers have authorised dealers throughout the world.

Perhaps a local dealer may be able to locate an authorised repair agent.

SOURCE: I have an omega spedmaster

Sounds like the excentric weight (which is responsible for winding the watch) has either stuck or the ratchet has failed.

I suggest you have it examined by an Omega service agent.
If you go to http://www.omegawatches.com/customer-service you will be able to find your nearest dealer or service agent.

My Invicta reserve speedway won't keep time but the stop watch works need help

If the stopwatch is working but the timekeeping is not accurate on your Invicta Reserve Speedway watch, there could be several possible causes for the issue. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the problem:
  1. Check the battery: A weak or dying battery can cause timekeeping issues. Try replacing the battery with a fresh one to see if it helps.
  2. Check the movement: If the battery replacement doesn't solve the issue, the movement (the internal mechanism that powers the watch) may be damaged or worn out. A professional watchmaker can diagnose the problem and repair or replace the movement if necessary.
  3. Check the setting: Make sure the watch is set to the correct time and time zone. You can refer to the manual or instructions for your watch on how to set the time and time zone.
  4. Magnetization: Sometimes, exposure to magnetic fields can interfere with the timekeeping of a watch. If you suspect that your watch has been exposed to a strong magnetic field, take it to a professional watchmaker for demagnetization.
  5. Water damage: If your watch has been exposed to water or moisture, it can cause damage to the movement and affect the timekeeping. You can try drying out the watch and replacing the battery, but it may require professional repair.
If none of these steps resolve the issue, you may need to take your Invicta Reserve Speedway watch to a professional watchmaker for diagnosis and repair.

Why can't I get my watch to run?

When was the battery changed last? If you have never changed it and even though it may be new, the battery can be old.

MY INVICTA IS AN AUTOMATIC WATCH. I'VE TURNED THE CROWN SEVERAL TIMES BUT WITHIN MINUTES THE SECOND HAND STOPS

If hand winding does not work then try waving it gently from side to side for 100-200 times (yes! that is what some makers recommend).

Since self winding watches thrive on use, it is best to wear it daily to keep it functioning.

I am trying to adjust it to the proper time and when I pull out the 'crown' the time does not stop and so I cannot adjust it. Should I wait for it to stop and then try to reset the time?

frasermundia,It sounds like you want to "hack" the setting...ie, stop the second hand when setting the time...however, this specific automatic movement isn't designed to do it. You might be able to get the second hand to stop...after unscrewing the crown and pulling it out to its 2nd position...by slightly turning the crown back and forth very small amounts; it's a bit flukey and doesn't always work. Your other option is to let it run out of reserve power and stop, as you said...and then set it and wind it.
Good luck!

Keeping 2008 breitling cockpit watch running

You have to wind the watch till it is fully wound (significant resistance should be felt).
It doesn't matter how many times you wind it (1 or even 40) - what matters is the strength of the spring.
Do as follows:
At any time in the morning wind the watch up till you feel there is no more winding left (should be quite tough). Memorize the time you did it.
Leave the watch (or wear it) till it stops completely.
Count the hours your watch did work (from the time you wound it).
Now you know exact power reserve for your watch.
It is advised to wind the watch 2-3 hours before the power reserve is gone.

New automatic watch keeps stopping

You can wind this watch until it is snug. If it does not continue to run during normal wear then you should have the watch looked at. The swing weight or main spring maybe malfunctioning. If you can return it under warranty that would be best.
