I broke a button on my mixtrack 2 and now it is not working properly

The above video might be helpful. If you are not technically inclined. A Service Technician might be a good idea. Pushing the start button should not cause this event in a properly working machine.

Possibly broke the hand controls or damaged the wires. If the grip moved its probably damaged.

the screen might not be touching the right poles (i.e not replaced properly) hope this helps

1 Reset your GoGear with something sharp like the tip of a pen or the end of a paper clip, if you're device isn't working properly or there's a frozen display. Insert the sharp object into the "Reset" hole (located at the bottom of the player), and hold it there until the device turns off. If resetting the device does nothing to restore the display, access the "Philips Device Manager" through your computer to recover the GoGear.

2 Click "Start" on your computer, then "Programs," "Philips Digital Audio Player," "Aria Device Manager," and then "Philips Device Manager." This will launch the "Philips Device Manager." Make sure the GoGear is turned off completely. Connect your GoGear to your computer while holding down the "Volume Up" button. Continue to hold the "Volume Up" button on your GoGear, until the "Philips Device Manager" recognizes the device and enters recovery mode. Click the "Repair" button when it appears on your computer, then follow the steps to fully recover the GoGear. Properly disconnect your GoGear from your computer and restart the device.

3 Recharge your device if your GoGear dies suddenly while playing. Connect the GoGear to your computer via the supplied USB cord. Plug one end of the USB cord into a functional, open USB port on your computer. Plug the free, smaller end of the USB cord firmly into the small USB jack on your GoGear and turn your computer on. This will begin the charging process of your GoGear. If recharging doesn't work, the battery may need to be replaced. Check that your GoGear isn't in standby mode. Hold the "Power" button for two seconds to turn it back on.

I had the same problem but there are ways to fix it..... sorta. But 1st what might of happened.

1.Water went in through the mic or hit the L button.
2.Your DS fell and the L button broke.

Now to fix it sorta you have to options and I never tried both.
1.Contact the DS creators and see if they can or will fix it.
2.Get a new DS.

Use just about any 2-part epoxy, clean parts with rubbing alcohol first to remove coffee oil and get a good bond.

the plastic board where the button attaches is broken and the button fell down inside..

Try holding the x button down for at least 5min and then tap it for 2 min and after words put it some place where it can fell ho and dry off even though it already might be dried of.

Is the receiver lights working?
Try this:
Normal 0 Press the Receiver button (and the lights will start flashing.
Then if the Keyboard isn't working, press the small RESET/CONNECT button on the back of the board to connect the keyboard to the receiver.

If the MOUSE isn’t working, push the small RESET/CONNECT button on the back of the mouse to connect to the receiver. Then they should work okay.
