Our samsung heatpump dryer dv90h8000hw has a HE error that a technician cleared by pressing two buttons when he came out to look at it. I forgot what the key combination was and how to reset it.

Turn off the dryer, wait about 15 seconds, hold down Wrinkle Prevent, Dry Level and Time then press and hold down power button until you see the control panel screen show all defaults. Once the screen changes, turn off the dryer and wait 15 seconds. That cleared mine.

Yep Fixed HE error for me too after machine overfilled. So annoying that you would have to get an engineer to fix it otherwise... Mine was under warranty, but I guess overall they must make money by forcing extra service calls or they would put it in the manual...

Try this. Hold down wrinkle prevent and dry level and time at the same time whilst turning it on

On my model, you need to press 3 buttons to do the reset - wrinkle prevent, dry level and time

I have a DV80F5E5HVW and had to press the bottom far right button(shirt with bell symbol) together with the third from right button(shirt with clock symbol). Then the display showed "bE2". Then turned machine off and on and the HE error code was cleared and machine worked.

Does anyone know if there is a manual time setting. I've cleaned the heat exchange and moisture detector but it still stops the cycle early with damp clothes. I'd rather be able to set it for an extra 30 mins without it auto switching off so I know they are fully dry?

Error code samsung refrigerator

That sounds like a power glitch. Try pressing and holding the power freeze and power cool buttons at the same time for about 8 to 13 seconds and see if it clears. If not try unplugging for a few minutes. If it still doesn't clear, you may need to call a repair technician.
