My Amana dryer model number LE7153WM does not heating

My Amana dryer model number LE7153WM does not produce heat to dry clothes. It was working fine a couple days ago. I checked the variable temp control knob and it is set to med-high moved it to high but no heat. What do I check next?

The thermal fuse and the heating element would be the likely suspects. Both can be checked with an ohm meter. If there is no continuity, it indicates a defective component. Neither is repairable and if either component is bad, it will have to be replaced. Hope this helped. Good luck.

Does not produce heat to dry clothes

The ehating element is relatively easy to replace. You should be able to find a scematic wiring diagram in the owners manual. If you dont have one check on line they may have one on thier web page. While you are doing this go ahaed and check your master thermal fuse. It will be depicted onm the diagram to. The fuse is usually the cause.

I have a ALE643RB Amana dryer and believe the heating element has went out because the dryer will not heat anymore. I have taken the control panel off the top and all the screws out on the back and the bottom edge, but am still not able to get the shell off the dryer. How do you get to the heating element?
