I have a BSA sweet 17, 2X7X35 all The black paint on the Tube has turned really sticky, when you touch the scope the paint gets all over your hand.

The coating that BSA used on their scopes reacts badly with certain airborne oils and softens rubs off and looks scabby
Only thing to do is to rub the rest of the coating off with high acetone nail polish remover

The BBs won't come.the gun won't it's a MCSR01 crosman air gun

With magazine out, what happens after cocking, should get a gush of air, if nothing, spring not latching, or seal leaking badly, have you adjusted trigger, to fine with a spring type, will not latch, so no pressure, can you feel anything happening, nothing at all spring latch, can you feel the pressure of the spring when you cook it.

Bsa superten problems firing

Give BSA a call at: 01494 676740 If you're not in GB, it's an overseas call.

I know it's a dumb question (maybe), but are you sure the bolt is fully advanced and locked and the safety's off?

Crossman Phantom break barrell air rifle will not **** after breaking the barrell open. Any suggestions as to the problem?

The barrel pushes the piston back when you **** it.

The seer grabs the piston to hold it.

It sounds like you have an engagement issue between your seer and piston.

Often there are springs which hold the triger paul and seers in place. You may have lost a spring which isnt allowing your trigger mechanism to reset after the trigger is pulled. This results in the trigger being permanitly in the fired position.

Good luck and hope this gives you something to look for
