Try replacing the inverter board which powers the backlights on set.

Bose solo sound system

Does the Bose remote work at all? New batteries may fix the problem. Logitech Harmony universal home theater remote and app This the best remote control you can ever have for your system. It is amazing. No need to look up codes since the remote is programmed all at once for every component you have and it's done online at their website. Want to change or add a new component? No problem....just log back on to their web site and edit your settings.

Hi, i've connected my TV(LG60PG30) and satellite decoder to my Bose LS38 following the directions in the manual, but all i get is the sound and black&white pictures. Can anyone help me please? Regards....

The black and white pictures are usually from people plugging into the green component input or output. If you are not doing high definition, you should be plugged into the yellow outputs and the yellow inputs, TV should be on Video 1. If you are using component video, you should have red-blue-and green from sat, bose, and tv, TV should be on Component 1.

Picture is black and white with a dvd movie

If you're using the 3 component cables for video, one is probably defective or not connected well.

No color when i play a dvd

What is your connection setup to the TV? Typically you want to connect component video out (Red, Blue Green) to your component in on your TV for the best possible picture or use HDMI if you have the III series.

What system are you using on your TV. NTSC gives no colour picture if displayed on a PAL tv for example!

Xbox 360 and bose surround sound no video

If your TV is HD, you should definitely be connecting the component video cables (green, blue and red) from the 360 to the TV (the 321 will not do video pass-thru from component cables). -Make sure you have a picture at this point. (TV switched to whichever input you connect the 360 to)
You can get an RCA extension cable for the audio portion (red and white) to connect to the 321 for audio. You could also connect an optical audio cable to the 321. An optical cable must be assigned from the system menu to work..
Let me know if this helps.

Apple TV and Bose Home Theater

You should be able to connect hdmi from apple tv to bose v30 for picture and sound. You can also run component video to bose and a hdmi out of bose to tv. Just make sure your running hdmi out of bose system to tv if your tv supports hdmi if not use component video cable. Another way which isn't as good of quality is to run fiber optic from apple tv to bose v30 and hdmi straight to tv.

Bose lifestyle v20 sound but no video

The problem turned out to be the TV itself. Somehow all the a/v and component cable inputs on the back of the TV got disabled. After finding then consulting the TV manual online (the TV is about 8 years old), we found there was a way to reset the TV to its original factory settings. Voila, the a/v and component cable inputs were enabled again, and everything worked correctly afterwards.

Connecting bose 321 system to lg hd flat screen, bose receiver plays fm am ok threw speakers.tv will not play threw bose speakers.bose dvd plays sound ,but no picture

You will need a Component Video Cable
Connect the Red Green and Blue Connections from the TV to the Bose.

if your audio is coming from the TV, also connect stereo audio from the TV's audio out to the "TV" input on the bose.

if you want to hook up other devices (VCR, BluRay, etc) the video will go directly to the TV and audio will go directly to the Bose
