Why all the component set in the pc but noting appear on the screen
If you made sure the connection to the monitor is secure then you should try a hard reboot which can fix small glitches such as this. To see how to do this click the link below:

I'm assuming the computer has lights power light/motherboard light the fans are spinning but nothing on the monitor. on my computer if the monitor has a signal the light turns blue when off or no signal turns yellow. is yours the correct color. check the connection between motherboard and monitor (the video cable from monitor to computer) plugged in correctly?
if your tech savvy you try these
(with the computer off and unplugged)
if your using a video card pull the card from the slot then put back in. sometimes they wiggle loose
swap power supply if available. with a known good supply
same with video card swap it if available.
Mo bo is not posting. Either you have a bad peripheral, memory, or a bad mo bo.

Hi Rajesh_KS
How many beeps did you hear? It matters. Every Bios has a name. (Award, AMI, Phoenix, IBM ect).
You'll need to enter your bios & check the name. It will be at the top of the menue or you can catch it just as your PC starts up.
Once you know the name of your bios & how many beeps you hear, Ex: 1 long 2 short & repeating. You'll know just what the problem is with regaurds to the memory.
I'll post a link for bios beep codes. All you'll need is the name.
Regardless of the error, it's suggested you remove your memory & than re-seat it. You will not get video display if your memory has a problem.
Here's the bios link: http://www.bioscentral.com/beepcodes/awardbeep.htm
On the right side of the page other manufactures bios's are listed & each have their own code system.
Support link for your Acer:

You can also test your memory if re-seating did not help.
Go to this link:
http://www.memtest.org/
Scroll down till you see ** Memtest86+ V2.01 (21/02/2008) **
all typed in red. You can download a bootable CD program to test your memory. File; Download - Pre-Compiled Bootable ISO (.zip)
If you rather use bootable floppy disk, File; Download - Pre-Compiled package for Floppy (DOS - Win)
Good luck & Kind Regards!

If you are comfortable with opening the case, you can try this: Unplug the power supply, make sure are constantly grounded (touching metal)remove add-in video card. Locate the "Clear CMOS" jumper (usually 3 pins in a row with two shorted via a plastic jumper). Remove the jumper and short the other 2 pins (if originally pins 1-2 with 3 open, short 2-3 with 1 open) for a few seconds. Then replace on original pins. Plug monitor into motherboard video port and power on. If it works, you can leave as is or try to re-install your video card following the same precautions when opening the case and probably changing BIOS settings to utilize the add-on card.

It is not unusal for capacitor/s to blow their tops and could emit flames and smoke as the power supply ages. When they blow they could damage other components. Don't bother trying to replace them, get a new power supply.
