Question about Zoom RT-223 - Portable Drum and Bass Rhythm Generator
The orange backlight still comes on with the word "ZOOM", but nothing else seems to be working :(
In most cases there could be a protector in the input section of the DC and this would prevent cross polarity or excess voltage. However if your voltage had exceeded the threshold set within , it could have damaged the IC's. In this case it will be wise to inspect the PCB and check for the damage and if your lucky, it could be only a burnt thermal resistor. Good Luck.,

Testimonial: "Thank you very much for your speed reply. If the thermal resistor had burnt out, would I be correct in assuming that there would be no activity at all when I turn the machine on?"
