Hi Annette, it's Jack at Dyson.

When you lower your AM05's target temperature (shown on the LED display on the front of the machine) down to 0°, the red light around the on/off switch will turn blue. This shows your machine is now running in fan-only mode, without the heating elements - suitable for use in hot weather. You can then adjust the airflow power and oscillation to suit your needs.

Why will my GE Zoneline 2100 work on high cool and high heat settings, but on low cool and low heat the fan won't run.

I don’t believe the remote tstat accepts those functions to change the fan speed versus using the on board controls. Try to change the fan speed while using the on board controls and when you have that setup then go back and change it to remote tstat setting.

Ok, I changed the thermostat and now the heat and fan come on but they don't shut off when I lower the thermostat. The heat I think does but the fan is still running.

I think fan should run until heating element cool off or it could overheat and break or melt parts in close proximity

How do I get the fan to run for amana air conditioner model aufcu01d

There should be a fan symbol on your remote control. In the "mode" control, there should be the following options.. Heat, cool, Auto and fan. If you select fan, only the fan will run. No heating or cooling.

Overheating when I sit idle.

Over heating the engine is a serious concern. With the hood raised you should hear the motorized fan turn on just behind the radiator as the engine requires additional cooling.. If you look in from the rear of the radiator you should see the fan blades.

This electric powered motor operates on a thermostat and when the engine temperature rises this fan should come on. I'm assuming from your description that when driving and air is flowing through the radiator as the car travels the engine is nor overheating.

Check fan motor thermostat, check fan motor and check wiring.

Motor engine cooling fan only runs as engine temperature requires additional cooling.

What make the rad.fan change speeds

If this is the original cooling fan it is very likely the cooling fan motor is defective or the connector to it is heat damaged from the motor problem, Make up a jumper cord from house lamp cord and hook it directly to the cooling fan motor, if the motor still turns slowly then the motor is defective.

Honeywell Thermostat RTH6350 makes heat run in AC mode after AC runs

Well, if it wasn't doing that before then you more than likely know its in your wiring. Cools down then heats back up sounds like the auto change over is on, and the heat setting is higher than the cool setting?

Engine cooling fan will continually run,

It seems you are low in coolant. The temperature sensor has air to sense instead of liquid and temperature gauge will be low. Try to fill up with coolant but sometimes it's hard to get rid of air from the system. Have you changed the engine thermostat?
Hope it helps
