The motor protection device is sensing to many amps. could be a flow restriction or the pump motor bearings are going bad.

SOURCE: Bathtub jacuzzi (motor turns runs but nothing coming from jets)

Each Jet will have an adjustment many times right on the jet nozzle. Carefully try to rotate them counter clockwise to open up the jet. This assumes you can here the motor running.

SOURCE: Jacuzzi jets not pumping out water

Check the jet pump, also where the filter is there are two 90s plastic. make sure that they are both in the water, if all those check out then check the switch for the jets. It sounds like the pump is bad and is not pumping the water. Even if the motor works and the internal parts of the motor seal gets wet then it all needs to be replaced and rebuilt. Very easy to do yourself. Like always be careful and unplug the unit.

SOURCE: jacuzzi whirlpool hot tub, flashes Fl-1 has new filters,

Sounds like a bad heating element. This is located in a stainless steel tube under or around the main control box behind the cover around the tub. It is not hard to replace but should be done by a pro. The part is avaliable online.

Regarding a 30x60 indoor jetted tub (Jacuzzi). When I push the on/off button, the pump slows down but then a few minutes later starts again on its own when there is no water. Any idea what is going

IF that is the one I recall, the switch is not connected to the tub. When you press the button, it sends air pressure to the switch under the tub to activate it;. You need to check the tubing and the switch

Lasko pump motor in jetted tub comes on when switch is turned on but doesn't pump any water from jets. Unit has been used very little and is about 8 years old. Is there any such thing as priming these...

you can check to make sure there is water to the front of the pump. What they use on their tubs is called flooded suction pump i.e. there has to be enough water to the front of the pump end to **** it through and push it up and out of the wet end.
fill your tub up and loosen the discharge union on the top of the pump until water starts to come out, quickly tighten the union back down and then see if you can get the pump to start pushing water.

I've got no water coming thru the side jets in my pool, even though water is pouring through the jacuzzi jets. The jacuzzi is all part of the pool.

This is an ether or situation. Most systems now are set up with three way valves and if you turn the jets on you will shut the pool returns down. If you turn the pool back on you will shut the spa jets off.

RapidHeat In-Line Heater U395000 [ Bathtubs and Whirlpools,: My jacuzzi tub jets run for ONLY about 5 minutes b...

you have a bad motor - when a motor overheats there is a sensor inside the motor that will shut if down so as to not damage the windings and such. once your tub has cooled down for 10 mins or so it will turn back on. the fact that you can push the button multiple times just means that you are turning the air switch on the back of the motor on/off until you get to the point where the motor has cooled down and will turn back on. if you do not push the air button after the tub shuts down and you finish your bath then when the pump cools down it will come back on because the air switch in the motor is latching i.e. it is either on or off. Since you left it in the on position the motor will come back on once the motor has cooled down.

Fill tub, press button, hear motor but no bubbles, etc coming from jets

Are the jets open? The center of the jets turn to adjust the pressure of the jets. If this is not the problem, there may be a problem with the impeller in the pump assembly. If you here the pump turning and not buzzing, it could be an air bubble in the suction tube. This tube is the one coming from the front of the pump, if the pump is higher than the tube coming from the tub, or if there is a high spot in the tube, an air bubble is a real possibility. If the tube is level with the pump, there should be no problem with air bubbles and the problem lies in the top part of this paragraph.

Water coming out of adjustable air vent behind wall of tub

one or more of the jets are turned off. i would suspect someone is plugging the jets off which causes water to go backwards in the system and the water goes out the air controls. solution: check the jets to make sure the jet faces are turned on and/or tell someone to quit plugging off the jets when they are in the tub.

Jetted bath tub has stopped working. Motor hums

look on the back of the motor there should be a shaft that you can try to turn to spin free because something inside the pump is blocking it. rate me if this is helpful.
