Skipped stitches sometimes occur if the machine is incorrectly threaded. Remove the thread and re-thread from the beginning (first RAISE the presser foot so the thread will seat in the tension disk).
Confirm that the thread follows the correct pathway (consult manual).
Try installing a brand-new needle.
Make sure the needle, thread, and fabric are compatible.

All About Needles

If it continues to not pull up the bobbin thread, the needle/hook could be out of time. May require service.

How can I get my janome 11000 to work when embroidering? The bottom thread doesn't even show and top thread is always breaking.

The tension(s) may be too tight and could be threaded incorrectly. Start out with a brand new needle. Be sure to RAISE the presser foot when threading the upper thread. Consult the owner's manual to be sure it is threaded in the proper order. Test your stitch on a straight stitch and adjust it so both threads meet in the middle of the fabric. This setting works for straight stitch. However, usually the upper thread tension is loosened a bit for embroidery so the bottom thread will not show on the top of the fabric. Test it on some small embroidery patterns first until it's where you want it.

Janome 1600P skipped stitches

Normal top tension is 3-4; normal bobbin tension (iirc) is 35 grams.
I'm betting, though, that a new needle, right way around and the correct size, would solve your skipping problems.

I have a janome 11000. it jammed while embroidering a project. The underneath was rats nest and my needle bent and gouged up my bobbin case...Replaced the case and now the machine makes a clicking noise...

sometimes when a needle gets bent, it can cause the sewing machine to need a adjustment by a technican.
sometimes a jam can be caused by the thread coming off the thread take up lever
or the bobbin is turned the wrong way in the bobbin case
or the bobbin was not thread correctly

Janome mystyle 28 won't stitch stretch material

Try a ball point needle which is for stretch fabrics. Using the wrong needle can cause skipped stitches.
