    The phone also says Android on the back of it

    Hi Davy, since it's Android, Please see this... depends on if it's the screen password or the login password to your phone.

    Not familiar with this type...but there recovering the password is not simple. A workaround is the following...

    1. take out battery, wait 5 sec
    2. insert battery back
    3. press and hold volume Up
    4. press and hold Power key
    5. wait mobile Hang on logo Or wait till you see on mobile screen FTM or

    Fastboot mode.
    1. take out battery, wait 5 sec
    2. insert battery back
    3. press and hold volume Down
    4. press and hold Power key
    5. wait mobile Hang on logo Or wait till you see on mobile sceen FTM or Fastboot mode

    I have been researching this and seems like recovering password is not so easy. The only recommendation is to reset the phone... which means you will lose all your data, etc.. If you are ready for this...I have listed below to perform this..

    Paul I did as you suggested and that worked, I was not worried about losing data as I gave the phone to my 11 year old daughter, again many thanks

So it does not happen again get yourself a little note book and write all pass words and information in it and store it in a drawer some place. When you get a new pass word scratch the old one out of your book and put your new one in. Sure saves a lot of head aches when you lose one.

Try the forgot password link on the yahoo page it should send you a code to reset your password. If you don't have an alternate e-mail it may just be better to create a new one.
