How do i remove DND on my nortel phone? - Nortel Computers & Internet

I am assuming the page is over your set and not an overhead speaker. The setting is in the configuration programming of your system. Recieve page must be set to 'n' in the programming for your set. If you don't have someone within your company that has access to this programming you may have to call an outside party.

giggle the DND button if it is stuck, if no DND button press feature #85

Just what it sounds like, phone will not accept calls or pages.
Feature 85 to enable DND
Feature #85 to accept calls

Hi Have you set your DND (Do Not Disturb)?... on.

Try pressing Feature #85....

That should take of DND... or if you have 'Call Forward' set

Press Feature #4.

You can use the do not disturb function on your set. When used it will stop all ringing on your set(both line ring and intercom ring). To turn on DND, press feature 85, to turn the DND back off press feature #85.

One doesn't necessarily equal the other, but start with the DND first :-)

Press FEATURE #85. DND off. (FEATURE *85 puts it back on).

Now, if everything works, skip the rest. If not, press FEAT *0 and press all the buttons on the strip below and above and note what it says. It should match what other phones have programmed. If it doesn't, post back as a comment and we can start working on that.

That should cancel it. If you have a CICS or an MICS. If its a BCM, it might work...

To disable DND on a Norstar system,
dial FEATURE # 8 5
from the set.

DND (do not disturb) is the only easy way I know of doing this for a short period.

If you do not have a button programmed for DND you can press [FEATURE] 85 to turn DND on or off.
