Ich habe festgestellt, dass man immer, auch wenn man keinen Backblech mitreinigem will, die Seitenhalterungen daf?r einrasten lassen muss. Sonst geht das nicht.

SOURCE: Neff B4562 Pyrolytic Cleaning Not Working

You need to remove the rack side supports too. Its not clear in the book as it just says shelves and racks but everything needs to come out the oven.

you have to remove the shelf supports (left and right) as well as the shelves. The manual tells you about the shelves but not the supports. I only found out as someone wrote the answer on another website

Neff pyrolytic Oven B4652

My suggestion is NEVER EVER use the self cleaning feature. We see questions like yours at least 4 times a week. Locked doors, burned out elements, burnt out fans and even frazzled control boards. The temperature is just too hostile.

The oven is cleaned by heat, at temperatures above normal cooking temperatures. During the cleaning cycle the oven is heated to about 880 degrees Fahrenheit (471° C.). At this temperature, food soils inside the oven decompose, leaving behind a small amount of ash.

E8010 error message, when trying to do the pyrolytic cleaning.

Why dont NEFF tell you that Error E8010 and E8020 relate to the door lock. I found after E8010 was displayed that the child lock also did not work but did not produce an error. I carefully actuated the door lock by hand, And then tried the self clean again and it worked. During manual movement of the lock Mechanism E8021 error came up. Conclusion is NEFF dont care about customer support only exploitation of their customer base Shame on them!

When the pyrolytic function is switched on the oven starts the process then after about ten minutes the code f1 appears on the digital control panel and stops

Hello katefreeman1 - Typically error code F1 indicates that the range has detected an issue with the runaway temperature (overheating). A certified technician will need to check the RTD sensor probe and/or EOC and replace if necessary. Try reprogramming the unit by unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. Wait approximately ten minutes and restart range. Usually this will clear most false error codes. If it proves to be ineffective, contact a professional to move forward accurately.

Engineer is a solution.
The other solution is;

Switch 3 times between rotisserie and pyrolysis or bread baking setting and pyrolysis.

As acknowledgement the displays are actuated.

At each change of operating modes switch immediately stops the current test step and the next step of the test enabled. The oven light should according to the mode ON or OFF; that is, at pyrolysis OFF otherwise ON.
