Hey Michael, thank you for your post!
Based off what you have described your Frigidaire refrigerator drain pipe is plugged up. You can clear out any clog within your drain by performing a manual defrost. In order to defrost your refrigerator you would need to disconnect power from it for at least one hour. If this does not help your issue I would suggest seeking assistance from a professional technician. I hope that this information is helpful to you. -Matt

SOURCE: Frigidaire plht189sska top freezer fridge problem.

If the defrost heating element, defrost timer or evaporater fan weren't working, you'd develop a block of ice on the evaporator. Is the compressor running? If it is, it might have bad valves from the frost buildup scenario. Liquid refrigerant could have gotten to the suction valves. The sealed system should have a five year warranty. Might be time to call a pro

I recently bought my son a Frigidaire ffps4533qm. He calls me yesterday saying that it is leaking water all over his floor. It is only a month old...what could be the issue? Also, is there a drip pan on...

Possible the drain hole inside (there for when it defrosts, and if there is one), is clogged. My main fridge just had that leaking issue caused by this. I used turkey baster to purge.

Water leaking out from inside and running out under the fridge. Do I need to clean out the outlet pipe and if so where would it be??

Check the drain tube that leads to the defrost pan under the fridge. The drain tube maybe plugged. Do you have water standing in the bottom of the fridge and if so that is probably the problem. However, something must be defrosting inside the fridge to create that much water. Be sure your fans are running inside the fridge.

Water Pooling & Freezing

Assuming your fridge has a defrost cycle ( I.e. is a frost free model), you are probably suffering a blocked drain hole or pipe, leading to the top of the condenser or a tray nearby, where the frost water can evaporate.
The pipe can block with food or a mould plug, leading to water retention that freezes and further blocks the drain. the water is produced when a heater switches on in defrost mode and thaws the internal or external ice build up and, with nowhere for it to go it will pool on the bottom and may, when in defrost mode, run out onto the floor.
With frost free fridges/freezers, there is a drain outlet, usually hidden behind a removable panel inside the fridge/freezer compartment or, a drain hole near the bottom. If there is a drain pipe as well, access is usually from the rear base of the machine. The pipe is usually removable and can be cleaned out but prepare for some water to escape. An ice block in the drainage hole can be thawed using a hair dryer BUT GENTLY, so as not to warp the plastic inners of the fridge.

Doewoo no frost fridge freezer is working fine except that we keep getting puddles of water under the freezer door. any ideas. had about 4 years now

probably a blocked drain outlet or pipe. At the bottom rear of the unit, mine had a drain pipe blocked with a plug of mould (5/6 years old machine), apparently quite common. I detached the pipe and cleaned it out and replaced it.
From inside the freezer, I removed the lower back panel and thawed the ice build up on the drainage tray below the defrost heating element, leading to the pipe outside. The puddles of water that was appearing every defrost cycle have now stopped - permanently I hope. Hope this helps you

Freezer was working but there was no cooling in the rest of the Fridge.Technicians refilled Gas and also replaced Thermostat. While compressor on,there was a thick ice deposition on the return pipe of the...

You got suckered by the sounds of it.... if your freezer is working your fridge is fine as far as gas charge goes.... thermostat MAY have been faulty but I doubt it.... Your problem probably started a couple weeks ago when the drain that allows defrosted ice (water) to drain into the drain pan at the base of your fridge became plugged for some reason. Then everytime the fridge went on defrost more water melted but did not drain which in turn froze. Now ice has built up and caused the air that flows into the fridge to be blocked, causing a warm fridge.... my advice is to leave fridge unplugged for 48 hrs to thaw it and find the cause of the water not to drain... could be a corn niblet or pea from the freezer... the tube should be visible from the inside or the back

I have the same problem. Engineer said most likely problem with insulation and since pipe is moulded onto the back, it cannot be fixed easily. Defrosting is a temporary solution only. Luckily I kept extended warranty going, they are going to replace it with a new one.

Bosch intelligent frost free 40

The small drain pipe on the back of the fridge gets clogged, hence no drainage when defrosting, hence ice blocks the airflow between the freezer compartment and the fridge compartment.
Remove the rubber stop from the drain pipe and clean (can be found above the motor)
Defrost the fridge for a few days (it takes at least 48 hours). During this time, if you are not brave enough to remove the internal panels of the freezer and continually clean the water, check for water coming out and clean.
If during the defrost there is no water coming out the drain pipe, use about 2m of flexible and strong wire to clean the pipe.
The aim is to unblock the pipe once the ice has melted.
