Take a sharp knife and gently slide it under the edge of the cap. Now pry up.

SOURCE: moen monticello shower control, remove handle

If your Posi-Temp has no water coming through the valve my first step would to replace the cartridge (Moen pn 1222). The valve as a simple one. Get the part first so you can ues the plastic tool that comes with it if you need to. Beneath the actual lever insert on the handle hub you will notice a small hole. this is to gain access to the allen head screw which holds the handle in place

How to fix delta shower single knob faucet

Take handle off (either set-screw from side or bottom of handle, or phillips screw under cap on end of handle), pull off sleeve that's behind handle, unscrew nut that holds cartridge (strap wrench works great) and pull cartridge out.

Why shower head drip when faucet is open half way to mix cold with hot

If its single handle you have a bad ball valve or seals they make kits to replace the ball assembly for single lever showers....... you will need to have the water off for an hour or so to fix this...... shut water off at street or inside the house then remove the handle to shower if acrylic you remove the cap in middle of handle then remove screw then handle comes off once you do that there is usually a crown nut ( chrome doam ) that holds the stem into the body of shower manifold...... take a chanel lock or vice grip put cloth around it to keep from scratching and turn in counter clockwise direction once you remove the crown then the assembly will come out you may have to gerk it by attaching vice grip to stem ( btw always put cloth over drain to prevent you from losing anything...now that its out you have to go to big box store and match up a new ball assembly with seals and spring ( be sure to note if it is moen or whatever but i always take assembly and go .... they sell two kits one a seal and spring replacement and two seal spring and new ball go home take the old seal and spring out feel around with your finger to be sure all is smooth and put new ball in ( these are keyed meaning there is a notch to match up ) make sure ball and collar seats before you put the crown back on and there ya go! good luck

How can I tighten the handle on the temperature control and the water pressure handle? Both are loose?

On the Deltas there is a small set screw opposite of the handle or under the handle cap. To remove the cap if your have to use a sharp blade so as to not scratch the handle. DON'T CUT YOURSELF!
The set screw is normally a allen type. If you feel good about doing something extra you can put some (vary little amount) of thread lock on the set screw ( you will need to completely remove the set screw to do this.

Turn off water main. remove round cap on face of handle, remove screw and pull handle. After that everything else can be pulled off easily. When you get to the diverter you should be able to why its stuck.

How do I remove the single faucet handle to replace it.

There is a set screw in the handle, it can either be a hex screw or it can be a philips head screw depending on which faucet you have. If you have a clear decrative handle then there is a cap that you remove and the screw is behind it. Once you remove it you can remove the other trim.

Danze shower fixture issue

If it is a single handle there should be an access hole to the under side of the handle that will allow access to a allen style set screw, loosen it and the handle can be removed.

Grohe trim pressure balance valve

i looked at it and there might be a press in cap with a screw underneath where the grohe label is. there also may be a set screw around the shoulder of the handle where an allen hex wrench fits to losen its clamp on the stem. also.......some handles just snap on and just pull off with some tugging and wiggling them just right.
