Sounds like you did great job of following the service manual and advice for parts suppliers, but often, it is service tech knowledge that is useful. For instance they will look at a board and say "yes, this board fits most of them, but not yours", or they say "these boards are made on Taiwan for 5 bucks each and 8/10 don't work, I keep 20 in the van". also these days, techs carry a laptop computer and connect to a Service Port, like the OBD2 port on a car. The machine tells them the issue.
Your choice, Service Call or Shiny New Machine. You can't do any more than you have done.
you have obviously seen this, but did you check the connection to the Inverter board on the motor and the soldered joints behind the connection? Different model, same code.
Exactly.
You can only check the connectors between main electronics and user interface. Sometimes due to vibration the connectors lose a good connection, otherwise main board(PCB) or user interface (PCB) is faulty. It is difficult to find out which of them is incorrect.
Only authorized service providers have a interface for connecting to the electronics of the washing machine.
I understand that you are looking for a picture of the motor wiring for your Electrolux washer, model# EWF1282. This appears to be an Australian Electrolux dishwasher. I suggest contacting the manufacturer directly. They might be able to get you a picture of the motor wiring. Hope this is helpful.
I don't have an electrolux, but I have an LG front loader. Mine was giving a simular error code, and I found the drain hose filter was clogged. Bee running fine since
Remove the top panel, there should only be 2 or 3 screws on the back of the panel, then slide the top panel back about 1/4 inch and it should lift off. Look to see if the belt has come off. Post your results back.
Communication problem. Check the wiring between the Main Control Board and the Speed Control Board. Wiring bad, correct wiring problem. Wiring good, replace the Main Control Board. If the problem is not corrected, replace the Speed Control Board. Here is the part you need.
E20 is an error code for a drain pump issue. The error will reset itself if the issue has been resolved. If it or another code continued to appear, then the unit has not been accurately fixed.
