Check to see if the grinder is jammed. Most likely, there was something that's gotten caught in it, and jammed the mechanism.

Thanks Jay. I will try again. Took it all apart, cleaned it and it looked free of obstruction.

Coffee is getting stuck in the shoot between the grinder and basket so coffee is very weak

Try using a bottle brush and cleaning out the residue from coffee grinding. Coffee grinds build up because of the oils in the beans. I clean mine twice a week and it works great.

My Jura Impressa S9 does not GRIND?

Could be bad grinder or no 12v. The display/control runs on 5v and there is a transformer (supplying 5/12vdc) where the a/c cord comes in. Mine was blown from lightening.
Try these guys... they have parts, trouble shooting and videos on youtube.

I have a Saeco Incanto Rondo with a grinder related problem

First step.If the grind is to coarse the burrs will spin to fast sensing no beans.
Solution: The grind needs to be finer. Caution you can over adjust causing the clay burrs to shatter.

How do you take apart the grinder on Saeco Spidem Villa Household Coffee Machine

There should be screws on the side or the bottom of the unit that will allow you to pull it apart. The problem seems to be that the two grinding wheels have gone bad and needs to be replaced. On this unit you cannot adjust the grinding as far as would need to be to fix the problem when the teeth get to small

Gaggia Titanium integrated grinder not spinning, not grinding.

your grinding chamber is blocked, the same happened to me, did it struggle to grind before? try taking the black shoot out the top with the 2 screws( were you would put pre ground coffee in) take the brew unit out(along with the waste water and bean tray), and reach up to where there is a little spring, the spring controls a little door, if you open the door manually and clean out the shoot to the grinder( make sure the machine is unplugged for this), i used the end of a tea spoon and a little hoover. it should work after this

Stuck grinder

Hi,

make sure you not get any damp into the grinder. If you have damp in the grinder then it do not grind the beans.

Brewing stops mid cycle

Sounds like dosage is too high and grind is too fine.

Rule of thumb with any saeco unit.

Do not grind any finer then 2 or your looking for trouble.

Open grinder, clean it out with a vac. Slapped it back on.

The reason it stops is grind is too fine, and the machine doesn't have enough pressure to pass threw the grinds, creates back pressure in the machine and the unit failsafes after a certain amount of time with and pressure.

Back pressure is what blew your boiler.

My Cuisinart CCM-16PC coffee grinder just stopped.

I just had the same problem, and careful examination revealed a horizontal (circumferencial) crack in the feed tube just above the top grinder wheel. I imagine the force of the grind is causing the crack to expand so that the wheels are jamming together creating too much friction/force for the grind to continue. Limited parts are available on cuisinart.com. Where you only need the shaft in this case, you will have to buy the entire bean chamber to get that part. About $8 plus shipping. They're showing the model as DBM-8. I'm pretty sure it's the same model as CCM-16PC that's stamped on the bottom.

Grind and brew..Grinder will not release and pop out

I have been told that placing vegetable shortening on the bottom of the grinder can help to reduce this problem. I have tried 3 in 1 oil, with mixed results.
