I have a seiko chonograph couturo alarm. 100m
Many of the Seiko Chronographs have the same setting options (mine is the lightweight "Titanium Sports").
First off, the alarm dial must show the same time as the actual
main dial. If not you must adjust this first.
Pull the knob at number 4 position on the watch face out, until you feel two distinct notches/clicks (around 0.5mm travel) and the alarm will make a shrill buzzing for about 1 second.
Now turn the #4 knob to move the small alarm dial at the #6, to be the same as the actual time displayed on the main face,
and press the #4 knob fully back in. This sets the alarm and the main time to the same ....er....time. You do not need to do this again, unless you adjust for daylight saving times during summer/winter.
Now you can set the alarm chime point.
Pull the #4 knob out again, but just one click. You should hear one ping from the alarm. Now press the button at #8 position. It will move the small alarm hands by 1 minute intervals, and if you keep it held in, the dial spins around quickly. This allows you to adjust the time the alarm will chime.
When you've got the alarm time and it's chime point set, leave the #4 knob at one click out.
If you wish to switch the alarm off simply press the #4 knob back in, and the alarm dial will spin around to the same time as the main dial.To re-enable the alarm pull the #4 out one click again. It's quite simple once you get the hang of it.
