You could try a reset.
Hold both the Home and Power buttons until the iphone begins to start.
It should take about 10 seconds.
It this does not work, your battery may be low.
Connect charger and try reset again.

It sounds like the receiver may be locked up. If the buttons on the front do not work, then try unplugging the receiver for 5 seconds and plug back in then check to see if everything is working fine.

You need to be patient and keep pressing the rinse button. I took a few water tanks of rinsing before it clicked over to heating mode. The manual and DVD need to mention this!

Power on.
Press and hold buttons marked 1.
Press and release 2 with stylus.
Release buttons marked 1 when menu comes up.
Press directly down on center dpad, marked 3.
You can also get tips & tricks from www.htcwiki.com It has the latest and great updates, software, even known issues if you ever come across this. HTC does recommend that you do a master/hard reset once a quarter to keep it moving smoothly. Also, ensure you don't have a lot of open running programs. Perhaps once a day, clean the cashe and history. Do a soft reset (aka battery pull) once or twice a week. All depends on how hard you play with this lovely PDA device!
If you have a rotarywheel; Press and hold to enter the menu, turn to Maintenance, select Decalcify unit; empty tray as requested, fill up 600ml water in a container. Disolve 3 Descaling tablets in the water, and then fill it in the watertank. Press Maintenance button and you`re off.
If you don`t have a Rotary; Turn off the machine and let it cool down for a while, then push the Rinse/Maintenance button for a few seconds; then you will get the message Empty tray. Fill the solution in the watertank and press button.
It`s important that you use the right amount of water, or else the process will "never" finish.
