SOURCE: modle 5222, scanner error?? any suggestions?
sure you lamp lights up when machine is powered on. open the top cover, turn power on. lamp should light and scanner should move. if either of these do not happen you will need to replace parts. if the lamp lights and the scanner moves your ccd could be bad. you may need a service tech. if the lamp does not light it is your problem. lamp, power supply, ballest, or main pcb could be the problem
