CYCLONE MEDIA PLAYER firmware up-date that allows .MKV

I am looking for a firmware up-date that allows codecs that i us in windows I.E Klite Mega codec pack that allows playback of MKV files for the cyclone any ideas i have gone through the doc and done a up-date but no support of MKV any help greatful

The player does not support .MKV files if you update the player it will still not play .MKV files the update is just to fix problems with the player.

What I do is download the klite codec mega pack and be sure to check Windows Media Player as one of the players to use it on when you download klite in the configurations. Or you can go and get VLC media player which has all the codecs you will need to play these files. This is what I use. So I know it works. Here are the links below. I hope that this assisted you. You can install Leawo Free MP4 Converter, when you install it, it will ask you to install a codec package, after you finish it. you can convert your video to MP4 format easily, or just watch your MKV video with Windows Media Player.

MKV codec for GOM Player
You can't add codecs to GOM Player - they are enbedded.
Use instead VLC, this player truly supports pretty much everything.

Windows Media Player cannot play this DVD because a compatible DVD decoder is not installed on your computer.
Download and install this.. Klite Mega Codec packs.
Restart your computer and play the movie with Windows Media Player or with the player that's included with Klite Mega codec packs.. They will play smoothly without any further codec problem.

I am not been able to play themovie on window media player that i have downloaded from the net
Most movies saved on the servers online are not compatible with windows media player since they are uploaded in different formats to decrease size and decrease uploading time. Common files like Mp4, .avi, rmvb, .mkv, etc....

If you want them to play using the windows media player, you'll need codecs like Klitemega codec packs, acemegacodec packs. You can download Klite Mega codec Packs here. Download and install it, then restart your system and try playing the download movies.

If this doesn't help, you better use a player like Vlc Media player, (click here to download), Install and run, you will be able to play any type of media using this player.
