SOURCE: Power light flashing/ no picture

I have the same problem. The only way to get the TV to come on is to unplug it, but once you get it back on it turns itself off again in a few minutes.

SOURCE: Red Blinking Light

These types of problems are allways hard to diagnose.. If you were to power on the set and preform tests, you would think that everything was fine until the moment it shuts off.

Look on the main power board and see if you cant find the thyristor (thermal switch), those are the things that when heated will cause the set to power off for safety reasons.. They are normally placed where ever a large heatsink is. That may give you a location as to the problem and you can put a meter around its 2 pins with the set off and unplugged a couple of min after failure, if its short (0 ohms) thats not the problem, if its open, it triggered the event.

Second, you can run the set for a while and check the voltages and Ve, Va, VCC, Vsetup etc and compair to the markings on the plasma PDP sticker. If you see one is falling down over time (volts will be lost as heat) then you can isolate that portion of the supply.

Third and allways the best way to go about these problems is buy a thermal gun and moniter various spots for heat.

Its just vary hard to say, resistance could be off somewhere, diodes could be overheating as well as fets and caps. Thats why a good thermal gun can point you to exactly where the problem is.

Hope this info helps, but I would suspect the problem is on the main power supply itself and not the y sus and z sus boards side boards.

SOURCE: Red light flashing. TV wont start.

Bypass the SEINE module if you know how. If you use off air HD you will have to get a new module.

My sharp model LC-70EQIOU WONT RESPOND TO REMOTE COMMANDS THE POWER LIGHT FLASHES NO PICTURE, NO SOUND

If your Sharp TV is not responding to remote commands and the power light is flashing, here are some steps you can try:
  1. Check the batteries in the remote control and replace them if necessary.
  2. Try using a different remote control to see if the issue is with the remote or the TV.
  3. Unplug the TV from the power outlet and wait for a few minutes before plugging it back in. This may reset the TV and resolve the issue.
  4. Check the connections between the TV and any external devices, such as cable boxes or DVD players. Make sure the connections are secure and the cables are not damaged.
  5. Try using the buttons on the TV itself to see if the issue is with the remote control.
If these steps do not resolve the issue, it is possible that there is a hardware problem with the TV that may require professional repair.

50" rear projection Toshiba TV.

Sounds like the tv is overheating. Make sure you arnt placing it in a area that will trap the heat like in a corner of a room. You can always put a fan blowing by the back of the tv too so there is some added ventilation. Let me know how it goes!!

Wii system turns on and responds to controller but there is no picture you can hear the system working on the tv but not picture

If you have no picture but sound, then your video input is not plugged in correctly.

Please double check your red yellow and white to make sure they are all the way in and in the right order. Its a simple mistake. Try looking with a flash light if you need more light.

I have a 2004 WS65713 that won't start

I am not sure without seeing the tv, but I believe you have a leaking fluid picture tube. Intermittent and unusual problems usually lead me to locating drops of fluid on the chassis. The fluid is conductive and corrosive and cannot be repaired. Try taking off the speaker grill and the small access board and VERY carefully, look for spots of fluid. Look carefully near the front of the printed circuit board (nearest you).

I have no picture at all. The green light on the

Unplug the tv and run a fan on it for at least an hour, plug the tv back in. This is the free solution, otherwise repari or replace the tv. Be sure to make sure other items don't work as well. Test a dvd player or another device against the TV. Try hitting other buttons for other inputs on the TV to see if the TV responds.

Good luck :)
