The pedestal drawer will not stay closed. It should like it is latching, but will not remain closed. The model number of the washer is EIFLS60LT1
Good Afternoon Dani, thank you for your post!
From my understanding your Electrolux pedestal is not remaining closed. You may need to replace the latch or rails inside of the pedestal. I can provide you with further part information once I have the model number of the pedestal. You can locate that information on the door frame of the pedestal. I look forward to helping you further. -Matt

First remove the top of the washer via 3 tork, 7mm hex head screws (they are hidden located on rear of washer) then you can see to line up the tub with the shipping bolts. Just put 2 in --one lower and upper opposing each other and that will be sufficient. I believe there is two screws holding the drawer in located at the track towards the front of the drawer. Now you can lean it over with no worries to remove pedestal

I had the same problem...thanks for posting a solution. I agree with the solution posted above, but on my unit they are 1/4" HEX head screws, not phillips. Look at the illustration on page 4 here for help:

I have a GE front loader on a pedestal & needed to remove the drawer. I got an answer from their website below. Basically, on this model, unscrew the hex-head screw at the FRONT of the side rails on each side.

You need to remove the 2 screws holding the black rails on both sides of the drawer. Took us a while to figure this one out also.
Hello friend, thanks for your inquiry!
I have researched that information for you and was unable to locate steps on how to remove the drawer from your pedestal. I would suggest seeking assistance from a professional for proper removal of the drawer. Hopefully this helps. -Matt
