SOURCE: Dacor model W305 blew an element. Replaced it. Won't work.

The fan and element rely on a supply from the thermostat, so perhaps when the element blew, it damaged the thermostat, another possibility is that there is a fuse of some sort in the oven that has blown as a result of the element blowing.
It is highly unlikely that the fan and element are faulty, you will have to look further.
Plz rate this solution.
Thanks, and merry xmas.

SOURCE: bake element

It may have also Blown the Fuse, to the element, in the stove itself.

SOURCE: I have a maytag mer5755qab

It is possible that when the element blew that the control board blew and is what caused the element to blow the chunk out of it. You might want to check for any voltage coming from the control board.

SOURCE: GLEB30T8CSA upper oven baking element has no power

It may be you have a bad element. If you remove it and have a volt meter you could check a the socket for power. Also if the upper and lower elements are the same change the working one to the upper oven and see if it works. If it does you need to purchase a new element. If there is no power to the upper oven you may have a bad control ora broken wire behind the panel. I would advise you to turn off the power to the oven before pulling or changing any componets.

Dacor Epicure Dual Fuel Range ERD36SACH/LP The oven only heats in pure covection.

f resetting the high temp limit switches did not resolve the issue, it may be a problem with the broiler and bake elements themselves or with the wiring and connections that supply power to them. It would be best to have a qualified technician inspect and diagnose the issue to determine the necessary repairs.

Dacro Wall oven (electric) does not heat past 345 degrees on bake or convection bake but broiler works and bottom oven works fine (for bake, convection bake and broil).

it could be the oven temp sensor rod located near the top of the inside of the oven,or possibly the bake element has a hot spot on the element and can no longer pass enough current thru this spot to correctly heat to your settings a hot spot on the element will look discolored in this area

My upper oven/ convection function on my dacor ecs230b will not heat

Bake and convection bake settings both use the bottom bake element to heat. It would be unusual for bake to work without conv. bake working. You also have pure convection which uses a different element surrounding the conv. fan on the back of the unit. If you press a feature and nothing happens it's the touch pad. If it comes on then turns back off it's probably the ERC (clock). If it comes on and wont heat only in pure conv. possibly an upper relay board or element problem.

My dacor oven model ECS130SBK is very slow to heat. Sometimes reaching the desired temp. after a long wait. Sometimes it never gets there.

I found the bottom element was not getting any power by using a volt/ohmmeter and a test method described elsewhere. (Shut off power, hold down COOK TIME while turning on power. then within 30 seconds press each mode you want to test and only that element/fan/etc will turn on. Cancels by itself after 30 sec.)

I traced the wire back to the relay (wire checked good) and there was no power getting through the relay although it clicked. Removed the relay board to replace it and found a cold solder joint on the "out" terminal with obvious past arcing carbon. Cleaned and soldered the pin and the oven now works normally.
WHY THE SLOW TO HEAT? The oven turns on all the elements to preheat faster and when it reaches your set temp it beeps and now only turns on the element you selected to maintain the temperature. (Bake or Convection) Our malfunctioning ovens would then cool since the element is not working properly and it must go back into preheat and keep cycling.
BY THE WAY- Don't ever use 4 hours on self clean it kills the boards and/or display. I also put a house fan in front of the oven and blow it into the lower grill to take away some of the heat on the two boards. Learned the hard way!

Dacor Oven Won;t Heat

power surges can short out the electonics in appliances. If you can locate where the tech sheet is and I would say its behind the control panel on top, look at the wiring diagram and see if there are any replaceable fuse's. Or a resetable fuse for the heating element. If not check to see if power is getting to the main control bord. If there is power there you may need to replace the control.
