Solder joints is not a problem in this country or all makes of cars would have a solder problem
I would suggest that you have a very serious inspection done on the car before you buy it as one piece of rubbish may be said to hide something more serious
AC systems mostly fail from loss of gas or failed compressors so have the problem properly diagnosed by an ac specialist shop first

My Super Nintendo's ac adapter has to warm up before it will work then. If it is cold it will not work then.

I am currently have the same problem with my ac adapter for my Super Nintendo console well you could buy a new ac apter to see if it makes a difference. . Maybe the wire are loose in the ac adapter then or there is something wrong with the parts inside of the adapter.

Water is leaking from the bottom on the floor not sure where it is coming from, and it is not drying went a few days without using the ac thinking maybe the ac had something to do with this issue.

I had a Mazda 626 that was leaking water/antifreeze from behind the console/dash onto the floor. I never fixed the issue which was a small radiator/ heater coil that Mazda put in the worst place possible to try and fix under the dash. My guess would be that it is the heater coil/radiator which gives you your inside heat when the car is up to temperature, so you can turn on your fan and get heat. It could be something as simple as a loose hose clamp. I just let mine drip until I got rid of the car at 300,000 miles. If the water is sticky, then it's from your cooling system which is tied in with your cars heating system.

I was told that I need a discharge sensor 2006 Mercury Milan. The AC blows but they said the sensor in the dash is not telling the AC to come on. But when I try to buy this part no one knows what that...

There are two sensors; Climate Control Sun Sensor located on the dash or rearview mirror, and an Ambient Air Temperature Sensor located by the climate control panel. I believe the one you're looking for will be the Ambient Air Temperature Sensor.

2001 AC not working, was told something under the dash quit working. What could that be?

Under the dash??????

Could only mean the blower is bad

Or the blower motor resistor

Or the evaporator core if all the gas has leaked out

Have a pro look at it and determine for sure what the problem is.

Can't remove dash panel to fix ac switch on 1997 hyundai elantra

never done one but sympathise with you ,put your extra strong glasses on and have good look ,i think it could be all part of the centre console and you may need to strip a bit more out first

Grimlins

Hello Gary, I have this problem still. I think my Jeep likes to keep us on the edge. I do know that I was told it was something in the console that was costly and the center console/dash had to be torn apart. Well that wasn't problem. I do know that this rectangular box behind the overflow canister attached to firewall, has solved alot of unexplained issues for me. My center console reads all different issues, but usually none are true. Now my console no longer reads when driver door is open when moving, at all. It says low coolant, frequently, but my heater core is bad so that is the problem there, I think. What do u mean by speedo works? Your speedometer? Well I would replace that box if you can find in junk yard for $100 and it fixes problems good deal then. Also check your fuse box inside and any underhood that address this issue. Good Luck and Happy Jeepin'
