Also; you may want to periodically clean out your chute by removing your bucket. Crushed ice has a tendency to stick to the surface of the chute and build up on its own even if the door is closing properly.

Open the freezer door and look down the ice chute while you shine a flashlite up the dispenser cute from the outside. If you see light around the chute door, it needs to be replaced or something is wrong with the mechanism. The problem you describe is almost always air leakage around that flap.

The ice maker keeps freezing up where the ice comes out of the door on my Frigidaire Refrigerator.

The ice door is probably not shutting tight allowing air in which frost up the door. Inspect the hinges on the ice door. It could be a broken bracket or hinge or the solenoid which operates the door may not be closing it all the way. Remove the dispenser cover by gently prying it off starting at the bottom and then remove the screws to access the other parts.

FROST BUILD UP ON ICE STORAGE BIN AND INSIDE OF

Most times this is caused by the dispenser door not shutting all the way. This causes moist air to be drawn in through the opening and the moisture will freeze in that area and also cause the dispenser door to have even more problems closing. Check the door and get me your model number so I can list the parts that are most likely causing this, Thanks Sea Breeze

Whirlpool side by side ice maker freezes up. can't get ice out of

Can you give more details?
If the ice chute is frosting up, chute door is not sealing, air , with moisture, is getting in and freezing. An ice cube getting trapped by the door will cause this also. Either case, replace door and delay mechanism.

Water does not flow through the dispenser

sounds like the sensors are playing up causing the bottom of the fridge to freeze, this will also cause the water reservior to freeze thus no water to the ice tray and water dispensor. do a full defrost then see if you gain back all the functions proving the sensor fault.

GE monorgram frost in the ice shute

Sounds like the ice door in the dispenser isn't closing properly or all the way which lets warm air in condensates then freezes.
