Your sd disk might be lock there is a little thing on the side that locks it just switch that and it should work and it might be in backwards

Card is protected

If you did not use the card before in your camera, please try to format the card in the camera. But the SD or SDHC card that goes into your camera, has a little switch, on the left side of the card, that should be set to the top of the card. Top is where the gold con acts are (back side when the switch is on the left)

You can try removing your SD Card and changing the lock/unlock switch to off on the left edge of your SD Card.

How do I unlock a write protected sd card

Take the SD card out and look for a little switch on it, hit the switch and plug it back in.
That should've worked, if it didn't look on the instructions.

Well, make sure you have checked the small gray tab on the left side of the sd card. It needs to be in the unlocked position. Too bad for me, because i have the same problem and my sd card isn't locked...
