Hi Tracy,

Palm creates a backup file of your data so you can restore that file as long as you have not tried to sync your calendar again (that would create another backup file that would be blank.

Here is the link to a forum post that explains how to replace the data file with the backup:

Calendar data deleted from Palm Desktop can it be recovered

They are probably in a format that the pda can not handle.

My TX crashes every time I try to hot sync

You could delete that app if you want, however I would go into hotsync config and sync only one section at a time, such as Notes, but not contacts or calendar (or anything else). If it works then add a section, such as contacts. Keep adding sections until it malfunctions. Pimlico software makes a product dbfixit ($) that can fix database (blob errors). You can download and install it, and it will report on (but not fix) any errors it finds.

Handheld Calendar Does Not Sync

Is KsDatebook compatible with Palm? Palm suggests only two programs to sync calender files with Microsoft Outlook and the one that comes with the TX CD.

Hot Sync with desktop and laptop computers

it is possible but if I well understood u wanna hot sync with ur laptop calendar and contact from ur Tungsten E, (that is having updated data from ur office computer). you can in fact synchronize verything there with ur laptop, and make ur hand held over write ur whatever is in ur laptop, for this u need to install the PDS and go to the hotsync manager on ur system try, go to custom and and on the list of conduits go to contact and change the action to hh overwrite desktop, (do the same for calendar) DON"T FORGET TO CHECK THE OPTION : MAKE AS DEFAULT. U can of course disable the rest except the system conduit. Never forget to set the conduits u change to set as defaults. Like this, u must have always updated data on ur hand-held, for this, u need to keep synchronizing with ur office computer. good luck,

Calendar Not Syncing

OK. Hope this helps you because it fixed my problem. Go into palm desktop. Go to hot sync, click on custom Go to Calendar (Outlook) and double click on that. At this point click on settings. Under conflict resolution choose "outlook wins". Then go out and check syncronize files and set as default. Click done and this should resolve the issue. Reply if this is confusing.

Outlook not synching

This is how I got it working. Don't use wireless sync software, someting is definitely buggy with it. Here is what I did to resolve sync errors: 1. Perform a hard reset on the Palm 2. Go to the Palmone folder on your hard drive (C:\Program Files|PalmOne. Look for the Backup folder. Rename this folder Backup Old. 3. Connect the Treo to your computer. 4. Right click the Hotsync icon in the taskbar and click Custom. Change the four Outlook conduits (Calendar, Contacts,Tasks,Memos) to Desktop overwrites Handheld. 5. Run a Hotsync with the Treo. It should sync without errors. If you need to install additional applications you can add them now

Cannot SYNC Outlook Calendar and Contacts

Probably one of these issues - your data is there but you are looking in the wrong place. I am trying to sync my outlook calendar and contacts via Hotsync on a Palm IIIc. It gives me the status of OK, but nothing shows up on the Palm. I have set the custom on Hotsync to desktop overwrites handheld, but still will not work. Thanks.
