SOURCE: Stoves 720EF - main fan not working

When you say the main fan, do you mean the background cooling fan or do you mean the circulating fan in the bottom oven?
Do you have the handbook for this oven as the wiring diagrams are included in it. If you haven't, you can take a copy from my BT Digital Vault - all I need is an email address to register you.
Looking at the diagram, the power for the cooling fan comes via the timer board. If, as you say, the fan doesn't work at all, the timer board could have gone faulty.

SOURCE: Fan oven is dead

When you turn to oven thermostat on, does the dial illuminate? All the information you need is in the handbook. If you don't have a copy, supply an email address and you can then gain access to by BT Digital Vault where a copy is stored for you to access.

Noisy fan and no heat

Kitchen aid is made by Whirlpool. There is a very good chance the then thermal fuse on the back of the oven has tripped. Whirlpools are very prone to this fuse tripping after a clean cycle. The noisy fan is just that a noisy fan it will probably need replacing. I have replace a couple of them over the years. When you pull the oven out to replace the thermal fuse replace the fan motor at the same tiome.

My Neff U1721 bottom oven has just stopped working - the fan still works, although is a bit noisy - what could be the problem/

Sound like the element has burnt out but if your fan is also noisy it is probley running slow which may have caused the element to overheat and burn out so it would be a good idea to replace the element and the fan motor

Hi, I have a Electrolux EOG 900 builtin gas oven & gas grill, fan very noisy. Its 10 years old, willl the grill & oven pack in if the fan gives up altogether. Would it cost alot to fix. Hope to...

They won't pack up.. The fan is there to circulate the warm air. It might not heat up or cook as quickly as it used too. It will not cost much to fix though, labor will usually cost more than the part itself.

Good Luck

The bottom oven on my zanussi zuq 875 has stopped working. No power indications of any kind.Top oven works fine. Followed instructions in manual but no power at all.ie; indicator lights, fan ,oven light....

Hello,
Have you checked that the timer clock is set and not flashing, because the rest of the cooker will work after power outage but for the main/fan oven to work the clock needs resetting.

Hope this helps.

The fan and oven light in bottom oven works but not heat.

The heating element is the likely culprit as they burn out and go open
circuit..(ie ...disconnected and will not heat up )
If you can use a multi-meter , then the element can be tested using the resistance range (with the oven SWITCHED OFF )

Neff U1721 bottom oven not heating fan & light are ok

Yes it will need a new element, if the fan runs and temperature light comes on then the element is gone.

NOISY OVEN

Yes, it can be fixed quite simply.
First check that the fan is not catching the cover or grill, if it is not remove panel covering fan and see if the fan blade is loose,on the shaft, they are usually held on by a left handed nut., so to tighten go the oppisite way to what you normally do, if that does not cure it, then your only solution is to replace the fan motor complete.
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks, and a merry xmas.

Noise exhaust fan on my Amana AOCS3040

The exhaust fan on my oven (Aosc3040) is loud also and has always been. Just hope nothing significant brakes because this model has been discontinued and it is difficult to get parts for it. I have been told by Amana that the life expentency of this oven is 10-13 years, so don't invest in anything that is not necessary. The glass door broke on mine and I cannot get a replacement piece. My kitchen looks terrible. It is a shame because the oven works great. Linda

Noisy Oven when heating up & fan spinning

Neth, Im not familiar with this oven but I thing someone is handing you a line. I've been doing this for 30 years now and never saw a oven cavity arch when heating. The fact is that there is something wrong with the fan motor or fan blades itself. Call this cat back and have them honor your warranty...Catriver..post back.
