on a lot of these late model computer base cars when battery power get low the computer gets confused. try this disconnect the neg. battery cable. charge the battery. reconnect and try again. my son cobalt battery went bad key was stuck in the igntion. good luck.

If the fuse is good and it has voltage, the problem could be the flasher or the turn signal switch.

well gm does some stupid things to their cars it is a possiability...put it back and see

if you mean it won`t start when you say won`t turn over then its probably the fuel pump has quit working and needs replacing.

I would check the starter relay first, here is a picture of were it is....Next make sure the battery ends ar clean and tight...if it still won't turn over then it is probabley the starter itself...

When the 1995 Towncar turns over but won't start or there is no spark you need to look to see if the O/D light is on once you turn the key on. If that light is on the Power control module has rec'd a code from the transmission that there is a O/D fault and the car won't start until that light is off. If you unhook your battery, red post first and neg next and wait at least 10 mins. and reattach the posts neg first and then the red post next the computer will reset and the light will turn off and the car will usually start. If not repeat the procedure. This is an O/D button or O/D switch problem when the light is on.

Hi, if your motor turns over ok & appears to be getting fuel, I'd probably check for spark by putting a spare plug in one of the leads & turning the engine over to see if it sparks, if it doesn't spark maybe it's your crank angle sensor/coil etc.
