8/7 = 1.1428 ; 1 - 1.1428 = ?0,1428
11/10 = 1.1 ; 1 - 1.1 = -0.1

7/8 = 0.875 ; 1 - 0.875 = 0.125
9/10 = 0.9 ; 1 - 0.9 = 0.1
10/11 = 0.9090 ; 1 - 0.9090 = 0.091
because you only have to add 0.091 to 0.9090 to get 1
10/11 is the closest to 1

How do I input a fraction

Look for a key marked [a b/c]. If you have it, its shifted function should be marked [d/c]. To enter a fraction using the [a b/c] you enter the integer part, then press [a b/c], enter the numerator of the fraction part, then press [a b/c] followed by the denominator.
Type in 13 and 7/9 you do as follows
13 [a b/c] 7 [a b/c] 9 followed by [=].
To convert it to an improper fraction, press [Shift/2nd/ 2nd F] [a b/c] to get 124/9.

Fraction to degrees

There must be an error in the question. Could it be fraction to decimal?
The MATH menu has two options 1:>Frac, 2:>Dec.
The first entered on the command line after a fraction keeps the result in (reduced) fraction form. On a displayed result, it converts a decimal into a fraction.
The second 2:>DEC converts a fraction into a decimal number.

The latest OS (2.53MP and following) has a better handling for fractions.

How do you do fraction, and

To enter the fraction two-thirds (2/3), first enter the number two. Then press the key that is the letter n with a bar underneath it. This will designate the 2 as the numerator of the fraction. Then, enter the number 3 followed by the key that is the letter d with a bar over it. That designates the 3 as the denominator of the fraction.
Any fraction can be inputted in the same manner. First the numerator followed by the n with a bar under it, then the denominator followed by the d with the bar over it. Once your fraction is inputted, continue with your computations as normal.

Okay, when i push shift then push d/c,it don't work? I am not sure if I am doing it in a wrong order or what?

If you want to enter an improper fraction, you enter it with the [a b/c] key as follows
numerator [a b/c] denominator.
If you want to enter a mixed fraction do as follows
interger [a b/c] numerator [a/c] denominator
If you want to convert a mixed fraction to an improper fraction use the key sequence [2nd or SHIFT] [d/c]
