Regarding Samsung LCD TV LN37A550P3FXZA. On 4/9/17 picture became too dark, looking like brightness setting is way too low and color saturation too high -- I'll call this the "Too Dark Picture."

Check and replace damaged component/s at its back-light inverter board, or replace this board as card basis. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. It will be best to replace the inverter board as card basis.
http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/
To some model sets; especially LED back-lighted types; the back-light inverter circuit will be part of the main power supply board [SMPS]. In such cases, the power supply board might need replacement. To some models sets, the back-light inverter and SMPS section circuit will be integrated at its main board itself. If so; the main board should be replaced. To some models of sets, all these section circuit will be integrated at its main board. If this is the case, you have to replace the main board.

When i take a picture with the flash, it has a yellow tint to it. Why?

Most likely your white balance setting needs to be adjusted. You didn't specify the model of your camera, so I can't tell you exactly how to change it (your manual should say).
Your camera should have several settings:
"A" or "Auto"
"Daylight/Sun"
"Tungsten" or "Indoors" or "Incandescent"
"Fluorescent"

and possibly also:
"Flash"
"Cloudy" or "Shade"

When taking flash pictures, the "Flash" setting should be best. If you don't have a flash setting, then "Daylight" or "Sun" will be the best.

Human eyes adjust quickly and easily to different colors of light, but cameras see light as it is, so indoor light will look yellow, outside bluish, fluorescent greenish, etc. So digital cameras shift the colors in the image to try to make white objects appear white like they would to your eye. But sometimes they mess up and don't get it quite right. That is where the manual white balance settings come in. If you play with these settings, then you will find you can improve the color quality of many of your pictures.

How can you make your nose look smaller with make-up?

Use concealer on the bridge of your nose and use a power on top... I saw it on Oprah.
Use an eye shadow that is a little darker than your skin, and put it on the sides of your nose to make it look thinner. An eyeshadow with a slight green tint will help minimize the appearance of depth around the edges, thus creating a smaller appearing nose.

Buy a thing of powder that's two or three shades darker than the powder you put on the rest of your face, and brush it on the sides of your nose.

I used to do make-up and costume design for theater. The advice above is spot-on: you want a color a few shades darker on either side of your nose. To make your nose look even thinner, use a color a few shades lighter than your skin right along the top of your nose, down to the "ball" --the part that sticks out the most. If you're trying to create a curve to your nose, ie, make the bridge seem like it sticks out less, use the same color that you used on the sides and blend it--gently!--over the bridge, then apply the highlight color just to the ball and blend thoroughly. Less is more here: in Theater, we heap the makeup on so that the audience can see it under the bright lights. In the real world, you want to go very easy on it. If you use too much, or too dark a color, your nose will just look dirty.

Make sure the foundation and concealer you use is matt making your nose appear less shiny and less attention will be drawn to it, also make your eyes, cheeks stand out that way the attention will be drawn to your nose. I have a fairly large nose and just for the past year what I've been doing is taking blush, and rub it gently up and down the nose. but don't touch the sides at all, this will make your nose appear thinner and more narrow than big.

Added an illustrating related link. It's easier to understand by seeing a picture or video.

Another way is to draw attention away from your nose, all you need to do is to apply more make up to your eyes.

Screen and photos turn dark when zoom is used

Take a look at the manual - sounds like you have accidentally changed the white balance setting - you will want to set it back.

Color

see if there is a "default" option, if not set everything back to the middle, if the colors are still off you sure its not the convergence?
most big screens allow you to change "color temperature" it's like a default adjustment for 3 different brightness levels.... ie...COOL, WARM picture will show obvious changes in brightness

Color messed up

Most likely your visitor turned one of the controls located on the back of the TV. There are only two controls they are the right side of the set in the back. The top one is the focus and the bottom one is the SCREEN control. You can carefully rotate clockwise the screen control until the brightness is back to normal. If you go to high with it you will see faint diagonal lines going accross the picture.
