To delete a number, go to the number in Contacts, then press Edit, then scroll to number you want to delete. There will be a little red symbol next to it, press this and the number will be deleted.
Another option is to scroll the bottom of the screen and it will give you the option to delete the entire contact
Deleting a phone number will free almost very little space. If you need more space on your phone, try deleting apps you no longer use, or plug the iPhone into a computer and move some photos from the phone to the computer.
This will give you much more space than deleting a number.
Remove the battery over night & leave phone off Base stand if you want to delete ALL numbers (I'd unplug the phone line too to be sure in case your phone base has a memory chip, some do). To remove one or more numbers, Left click main button to bring up the phone list, bottom click to highlight the number you want to delete, click on SEL, then select Delete & press SEL again.

As you said me you want to delete some contact from you are phone memory means you can do this if you follow this things.Go to menu select contacts then scroll over to delete option and select that option after selecting that you will get two option telling delete all, one by one.If you select all contact will be deleted if you select one by one means you can delete one by one.If you want to edit the number means you can select menu and then contacts there you will get search select it and type the name after getting the contact select option then scroll over to edit number there you can edit.Thanks for you are question happy to help.
Go to Phone book on your phone.
It will display the Names List/Phone numbers you have saved.
Click on the number you want to edit/delete.
Once the name/number is displayed, click on options and then Edit/Delete the Name/Number.
go to call logs.. then.. check out the number thats registered.. click options.. look for delete/erase.. delete all or delete one by one.. anyway.. whats the model of ur mobile phone? thanks
hi, go to contact menu 1.select delete option.... 2. two options will be displayed(delete one by one or delete all) if you want to delete one number give one by one or whole number means give delete all option (or) go to number which you want to delete select the option choose delete option.. this will definitely work thanking u happy new year
If you delete the number in your phone phone book and you use SIM card then there is nothing to worry, just retrieve it from your SIM but if it is in your main phone memory then only one lucky way is check your recent call history to see the delete number is still there or check on call out numbers and received numbers. Only those areas which you may be able to retrieve. Good Luck
