Can I adjust the timing on my Juki TL-2010Q myself? I need realy detailed directions!

I have a Juki TL-2010Q sewing machine. I have had recurring problems with skipped stitches. Had the timing fixed this summer, but am again faced with skipped stitches. Can anyone describe how to fix the timing. I'd like to avoid another $90 charge! Thanks!

Have you replaced your needle first. Sometimes simply a new needle will do the trick. That Juki being a straight stitch only machine make it simple. When the needle reaches its lowest point and then starts back up about an eight of an inch. The point of the hook should be slightly above the eye of the needle and be directly behind the needle shaft.

Juki TL 2010Q stopped sewing new out of box

Question moved from Cars and Trucks to Juki Sewing Machine.

I wonder if you mean 'sewing' rather than 'seeing'??

If it is new, did you read all the manual? Did you make sure the leads are nice and tight.

It is under warranty, contact seller or maker.

Juki tl2000 125v plugged into 240v socket-nothing in manual to suggest it is a 125v. Machine does not work

Check fuse "F1" located on power filter module see service manual at following link.

You might get lucky and the fuse saved you.

I lowered the feed dogs on my Juki TL-2010Q to free motion quilt and they won't raise. I cleaned under the throat plate. Help?

Have you tried sewing with it since you "raised" the feed dogs? The feed dogs will not raise until you begin to stitch.

Model TL-2010Q. Why is it skipping stitches?

First thing to always try--install a brand new needle! In your case, use a Top Stitch Needle.

When my machine sews you can pull bottom thread right out of the stitching

First - Thread it with 2 completely different colors of the same size thread; 50 weight is best.

Your upper thread tension is too loose, turn it clockwise a quarter turn, test the sewing, repeat until the sewing is good.
