The light comes on when I press start but no menu pops up

Probably a stuck button, either the menu button on the set itself is stuck or a menu button on a remote is active. Press the menu button on the set itself and see if that "un-sticks" the button, if it was indeed stuck. If the menu keeps popping up, take the remotes from the room and go back in without the remotes and see if the menu is popping up. Try the menu button again on the TV itself to see if that changes things. If the problem was a remote, perhaps it was laying wrong and depressing a button. Or, a button on it may have indeed been stuck. Bring the remotes back in and see if the menu starts popping up.

Couple of things you can try
Try 1 :
1. Press the windows key on your laptop and see weather the start menu pops up 2. If it pops up then the problem is with your laptop touch pad 3. Try ALT+CTRL+DELETE 4. Use the TAB to get to the Turn Off button and click that then turn on again
Try 2: 1. If the windows start menu did not pop up 2. Then your laptop is stuck 3. Press and hold the physical on/off button of your laptop then your laptop will turn off

To start voice recording, follow these steps:

1. Press the Menu button to return to Main Menu.

2. Select Voice

3. Press Play/Pause to start recording.

4. To pause recording, press Play/Pause again

5. To stop recording, press Select. A pop-up window will appear on the screen. Select Yes to

save recording. The recording will be saved in the RECORD/VOICE folder.
6. Press 'button to return to the Voice Menu.
