Have a Jet 3 Scooter that was new batteries and a new charger. The batteries will charge and the amp meter will go down as the batteries charge. Getting 26 to 28 dcv. When powered, the controller displays a full charge with no faults. The motors are engaged not in the freewheel mode, charger is unplugged. If I leave the charger plugged in the chair will move! Any ideas? Thanks
Check your freewheel levers are in drive mode.

SOURCE: There is no power
Seems like you are on the right track and you can save alot of money there. I would aproach this systematically trace the power to the switch then t0o the speed controller and back to moter you can also put some jumpers from a battery to the moter connections.
If it is in such new condition then it must be a damaged or loose connection.
SOURCE: dead and wont move cant charge but batties are ok
sounds like a dead battery on the unit. see if you can get it replace .
SOURCE: I have a Rascal 600f scooter that seems 2 work
It is pretty common for the meters on the charger to either not work at all, or give an inaccurate reading. They get bounced and dropped, and they aren't that well built to begin with. Basically, just ignore the charger as long as you are getting a full charge out of it, and getting good distance with each charge.
SOURCE: The scooter rar wheels locked up nothing moves
hi, if the freewheel lever is jammed which is located on the drive motor, take the rear cover off and make sure the lever is not bent,
you will see how the freewheel lever is mounted under normally a rubber cover on the side of the electric motor ,
Let me know
SOURCE: I have a Pride Legnd..the scooter started loseing
hi, first you need to check the connections to the batteries then to the motor controller, and don't dismiss the speed pot, disconnect the speed pot and try a normal 5K pot inplace of it, if the scooters responds you find the problem just a case of getting the right speed pot. Check the freewheel switch, normally it located on the motor side.
