Close the water supply to the machine and unscrew the hose from the machine rear, there is a fine filter screen to trap any foreign objects etc. if this is clean and your water supply is strong, you will need to replace the water inlet valve (solenoid valve).

What is error IE in LG FR1352NCZ washing machine? TIA

This IE error or fault code indicates that the washer is not filling with water. Check to be sure the water supply valves are open. Also, check to be sure the water supply hoses aren't kinked or clogged. Next, remove the hoses from the washing machine and run water into a bucket to test the pressure and flow of the water. If all of these check out and you have good water pressure and flow to the machine, you should replace the water inlet valve.

HOW DO I STARTS MY WASHING MACHINE AGAIN CAUSE IT ALWAYS `IE` ERROR EVEN I ALREADY CLEAN THE FILTER,CHECK HOSE,THIS ERROR HAPPENS WHEN SOMEONE USE IT MANUAL WHEN NO WATER IN SERVICE,I MEAN HE MANUALLY

The IE or E1 error or fault code indicates that the washer is not filling with water. Check to be sure the water supply valves are open. Also, check to be sure the water supply hoses aren't kinked or clogged. Next, remove the hoses from the washing machine and run water into a bucket to test the pressure and flow of the water. If all of these check out and you have good water pressure and flow to the machine, you should replace the water inlet valve
If you are trying to use the machine manually, there needs to be enough water in the machine to tell the level sensor when to switch off the water inlet solenoid valve. Failing this, the machine will only show IE (Inlet Error) and refuse to work.

Ie code comes up washer wont fill up

An 'IE' error code on the display indicates an inlet error, or that the washer was unable to fill with water within a determined amount of time. Before replacing the water valves, check that there is not blockage at the valves. turn off the water, remove the water supply hoses from the valve, and see if there is a build up of sediment, rust, etc on the valve screens. If there is, you can remove the little screens and clean them. If all or any filter screens are ok, replace the valve assembly.

Error code ie

Hi

The "IE" error code indicates a problem with the water inlet. The water supply valves are not turned on fully or the inlet hoses are kinked, clogged or frozen. Remove kinks in the hoses and remove clogs with a straightened coat hanger. If this does not resolve the problem, contact a service technician.

The machine is indicating an IE fault

An IE error code will appear if the washer has not filled with water in approximately 8 minutes. If an IE error code appears on the washer, check to make sure both hot and cold-water taps are open completely. After both valves have been opened, unplug the washer for 10 seconds and retry the wash cycle. There are filters on the inlet hose connections of the washing machine. They are intended to filter away mineral deposits from hard water and other debris from getting into the unit. If clogged, water will not flow through these filters into the washer. Turn off both the hot and cold water taps, disconnect the inlet hoses from the back of the washing machine, and clean the inlet filters gently but thoroughly wm_inlet_filter_removal(1).jpg

IE error code

The "IE" code indicates a water inlet problem. If the correct water level is not reached in eight minutes, this code is generated. Check the water inlet valve. Unplug the machine, turn off the water, and remove the water supply hoses. Check the small metal screens inside the openings on the water inlet valve. Make sure they are clear of rust or debris. Check the solenoids using a multimeter or ohmmeter.Check for continuity. A lack of continuity means a bad solenoid and the water inlet valve assy will have to be replaced. I'll attach a photo for reference. Sorry for your trouble and I hope this helped. Best wishes.
