KLH DVD8350 DVD Player Logo

Is there an illustration for hookup of cables on the KLH DVD8350 DVD Player to an RCA LED HD TV?

If no images are available, instructions will work. What I really need is a manual for the product. Can you tell me where I can locate one? Thanks!

color coded RCA plugs in the back of the DVD will match the jacks on the rear of the TV, you only need 3 but can use up to 6 if motivated. red and white are sound while yellow is always video for the most basic connection for an anolog TV. Orange is digital audio, small optical out (square plug) is for optical audio and the 3 other colors back there are for colorstream outputs or composite outs. If you have a rectangle plug in the back that is for a HDMI cable. Of course if you have a solver metal threaded connector like a cable jack in the back you can use that too but there are very few DVD players that have this connector.

Att uverse hook up hd tv

I do not own a blue ray player but my son has a PS3. The thick cable is most likely HDMI and it should work without the red/white sound cable...try unplugging them so the auto detect feature if available and activated is not trying to compete by finding 2 sources. If that works great! If not, you can get a yellow RCA for the video and just use those as a source - again, don't use the HDMI cable and try it. If you don't have a yellow RCA, I've used another red or white for video testing to see if I can get a video feed. Most newer red/white cable will pass a video signal just fine and are only color coded for ease of hookup.

Hi, I'm getting only 720x480i resolution with component cables connecting this DVD and TV. My TV is full HD TV, but I cannot get 1080p with component cables. Tried almost every setting on TV and DVD.

720 is the usual output from a DVD. Usually if you futz with the settings long enough, you'll find where most TVs can at least fill the screen by re-sampling, and SOME DVD players will have settings that will do the re-sampling for you and output 1080i, again just to fill your screen. But don't be fooled... only Blue Ray disks will give you true 1080i resolution. .

Component video signal between KLH DVD8350 & Vizio 32" PlasmaHDTV

If the Visio TV has more than one input, don't forget to use its remote to make sure the correct input is selected. It probably wouldn't hurt to put a DVD into the player, confirm its running from the front panel counters) and let it keep running as you troubleshoot. At least then you'll know there is an active video source once you find it. Another thing you can try is to put in a music CD, if the player accepts these too (most do). Then when you get the TV set to the right input, at least you'll hear music, and can then go back to trying a DVD.

I know you're using component video, so remember that unlike HDMI devices, the TV is unable to switch to the correct source automatically. So it may just be that you've never had to switch the TV's input source before. Good luck! :-)

KLH DVD 221

Hi,

My sincerest apologies. I was not made aware that you posted a direct request for assistance. It was only by chance that I saw your post.

To your concern should you still require information; most units would have a yellow, red and white connectors commonly called RCA. What is required then is a triple RCA to RCA connector as shown below. The yellow is normally connected to the video, while the red & white are for the R & L of the audio. An identical set would be on the rear of the TV unit henceforth the connection would be OUT from the KLH DVD 221 to the IN of the TV.

In some instances, a single cable is used to connect some models to the TV. This is called an RF patch cord and would look sonething like below. This would come form the RF OUT of the player to the RF/CABLE/ANT IN of the TV. Pls make sure that the style/form fits your units.

KLH dvd

Hi,

A quick reply would be YES. They are normally available in any electronics supply store. They are about the same size as the old Sony Walkmans rubber belt. It would be preferable that you bring along the old belt so as to match the new one (as per sample).

Good luck and kind regards.
