If its less than five years old then you maybe able to order it right from roland , older than that you can always ask them but you might be out of luck , a friend of mine had a problem with his keyboards display too and it turns out it had a external display monitor output on the back, ive rigged him up a small 4 inch tv that plugs right into it and now he can select all his functions using that . works
Thanks mr.Browning.ive had the juno g for over 5 years and then some.still love it yet my creativity has been stumped now due to this glitch.when you mean a monitor can be fitted, would that be via a usb connection?
well the usb is most likely for a MIDI connection (idea run your board on Midi !!), you could check but there might be some Midi software out there to allow you to see a display , I cant exactly remember what brand my buddy's was but it had a composite monitor output jack (round jack) that I made up a cord to go between it and the tv monitor it saved him thousands of dollars , one draw back was he had to keep changing the battery's in the monitor a lot

SOURCE: My sustain pedal does not work on my Roland Juno-D keyboard.
Have you tried the pedal straight into the amp without going thru the Roland?
Does the sustain pedal turn on with the foot pedal or is it a separte stomp switch to turn it on?
SOURCE: roland juno-d, keys are either too loud or too
Normally you have to clean the conductive rubber "pills" AND the circuit board traces they get pressed down on.
USE ONLY 99% isoprophyl alcohol on Q-Tips to do the cleaning and be gentle.
Use of other product like deoxit and other contact cleaners will wreck the contact material.

juno, lovely instrument, try the synthesizer repair centre in london
SOURCE: I NEED TO KNOW HOW TO SET UP MY ROLAND JUNO D WITH
Simple way is MIDI out from Juno to MIDI in on MPC, then (depending on how you want to work), connect MIDI out from MPC to the in on the Juno. If you do this you MUST turn local control off on the Juno or else you'll get double triggers (internal + msg in from MPC). Now to record sequences on MPC , set MIDI to as track in setup window (on the 2500, this is accessed by pressing MODE then pad 9, then press button under the corresponding tab [on LCD]) then set your MIDI channel by port, meaning if your MIDI cable is physically connected to out A, in your LCD in bottom right corner it will show as follows: 1A. This indicates you are transmitting on MIDI channel 1; port A. Remember, MIDI IS NOT AUDIO!!!!! Since the Juno is a synth and not a workstation, all transport controls are handled by the MPC, that's pretty much it... Hope this helps a little, enjoy!
P.S. Go to mpc-forum.com its THE sh**! They also have links for their e-book I have one for the 2500 and its awesome!!!
SOURCE: replacing a battery on a roland juno
The D and G models do not have a battery supply. Nothing is mentioned in the owners manuals of either unit. So on the off chance there is one in use similar to a BIOS battery in a computer- you need to pull out all the screws holding it together and search the boards.
