Heater temp on high only bows luke warm air after driving. A/C works just fine.Plenty of cold air from it

To get any heat I have to turn the heater temp to high & then drive a while & even then its only luke warm air. The A/C works just fine in summer. When I run up the heat temp control I can hear the door/vents opening. No one seems to know the problem.

It sounds like a faulty temperature sensor or the thermostat is stuck open. the first thing to check is the coolant level and make sure it is at the proper levels, low coolant can cause this issue as well.

Blower control

Sounds like a thermostat and/ or the system is low on coolant.
Its probably not going to reach 200 degrees when the outside air temp is below freezing, but you should get plenty of heat if the system is working correctly.

95 S10 blows cold luke warm air, I've flushed the heater core and seem to have flow, after engine heats up one hose from manifold is warm, the one going to the water pump is cold, when changing the heater...

If one of the hoses to the heater core warm and the other is cold then the heater core is restricted still. Try disconnecting the hoses at the core and flushing to core with a hose go from one side to the other you can likely clear it out and save it. Also check the radiator cap and radiator it sounds like the system is not holding proper pressure. If this is a 4.3 they have a vary large cooling system and the radiators are knowen to have problems not holding pressure they are leaking and you can't even see it. It leaks in a fine mist and is despursed under the vehicle when driveing . For now i think you can save the heater core but it sounds like you are going to have to do a total mantintance on your colling system when the weather allows

Heater

Likely it has more to do with the door that controlls the airflow. Which should be operated by vacum might check and make sure all thevacum lines are plugged in.

Does the gauge in the car show it warms up?

Heater bows cold when idling

Hya!
You need to bleed the cooling system.
To do this park on level ground, when cold remove coolant filler cap, start engine and leave to idle.
Have plenty of warm/hot water available, when engine reaches operating temp it may appear to boil over so keep away from coolant filler, top up with warm/hot water and wait as it may bubble over a few times before settling.
Replace cap and hopefully back to normal, Remember your Anti Freeze?
Good luck,
