Everytime I try and log in through Facebook it takes me to home screen...It took me 8 months just to get 400+ followers....Im really begging for a solution...on how to do it on the Ipad

I would try to uninstall the Facebook App, and then restart see (* below) the iPad mini, and after that re-install the Facebook App.

* You should do a full re-start of the iPad. This means holding down the on/off button at the top edge, while holding down the "Home' button for at last 5 seconds, or until you see the "Apple' logo appear on the screen.

Hi try deleting the apps U don't need.:: if U have the full app of Facebook it can b a problem with tablets they freeze up & slows them down try deleting you're full app of Facebook & login into you're Facebook with Google or you're browser...if this doesn't help U might have to reset the tablet. CLICK ON TOOLS OR SETTINGS it will open a page with wireless & networks or similar scroll down to backup & reset .click it on follow instructions U can do a full reset this will take it back to factory specs or U can back up you're data & do a reset. when logged in to facebook, select upper right triangle down, find log out, and log out.
then you can sign in again, with your other email address, you will need that. you can reset password if you need to.
you can do this to switch between the 2 accounts. if you don't want an account, log in, then
choose the padlock upper right , then More settings. on the left, choose security. In middle of screen at bottom, you should see deactivate my account. choose edit on the left.

ARE YOU SURE YOUR NAME AND PASSWORD IS RIGHT? DOES FACEBOOK HAVE SOME SPECIAL QUESTIONS TO IDENTIFY YOU ....MAYBE YOUR HOME PHONE # IF NOT YOU MAY HAVE TO OPEN A NEW FACEBOOK ACCOUNT WITH A NEW NAME AND PASSWORD

Just a thought as I just experienced this myself: I wasn't aware that the applications on my ipad run in the background. So when I tried repeatedly to connect - each attempt was opening a new log in to Facebook. Once I learned that I had a number of background apps running - multiple times, specifically about nine Facebook entrances - I closed them all and was able to log in immediately. I'm not sure how something very simple (turning all these apps OFF - slipped by me.) If you wish to check: double click on your top / screen side, power button. Running apps will either have a red 'X' - older ipads, or have a 'mini screen' (each for all open apps) that you can 'swipe' off. On mine it's "up". This may not be what is causing you trouble but it was an instant 'fix' for me. Hope it helps - let us know? Thanks & good luck.

I have had the same issue on my sons ebook tablet with Clash of the Titans too. Have you tried it on a Computer? It seemed to have the same issue with mine so i sent Facebook a request to fix this and they denied having any issues with the scamble or clash etc. Im afraid it is something they prob are working on so it would be good for you and any friends to send them a help ticket. I will follow your post and if I get any fixes or info ill post it as a follow up.,

Many "shutdown issues" are caused by over taxing your memory with open apps.
Double click the home key to view the open programs at the bottom. Tap the "-" signs to close most if not all apps. Swipe down or click the home key to return to the main screen; then try again.

Are you absolutely sure you're using the correct email address and password? Similar things have happened to me, only to find out it was a wrong or outdated password. If you're positive it's correct, try deleting and reinstalling the Facebook app by going to the home screen and pressing and holding the Facebook icon until the icons start wiggling and an X appears on it, then tapping the X. Next, simply go to the App Store and download Facebook again.

If you have the same problem after trying this, maybe try logging into Facebook from somewhere else. If you can log in from other places but not on the iPad, make sure you can get on other websites such as Google on it, just in case it's a connection issue. I hope this helps :)

Go to settings, applications, then find Facebook, click it, and click Stop or Close. That'll take care of it!
