If answering live call and is busy signal on the other end then could be a recording from far end....call a tech in.

If voice mail message is busy signal it could be same as above or Disconnect Supervsision is not programmed on the lines and with the carrier.....this detects when caller hangs up then system knows to hang up, if does not hangup then you get busy signal.

Did you mean "Line" in use?

Caller calling Voice Mail probably tied it up.

Tech needs to program Supervision Disconnect for the line/s and Carrier must do the same so they talk to each other.
So when callers hangs up a disconnect signal tells the system to hang up.
90 percent of the time the tech had it programmed but the carrier did not.

Well I called the same number and I told the guy that it stop working and that I bought this player about a month and a half ago. So as he's telling me to plug it into the computer he hangs up on me. So ok, I thought it was my phone ...I called back twice and it gave me a busy signal. So he did indeed hang up on me. What a f!*king **** and this company. I want my money back.

on your modem just push the reset button on the back with a pen or paperclip and let it recycle it should work fine

Thank you for offering to help, but I think I've actually found the problem myself. I opened up the jack last night and found that one of the white wires was disconnected. I'm not quite sure if this will fix the issue because I didn't have enough time to actually reconnect it, but I have a feeling it just might do the trick. I'll work on it tonight. Thanks again.

I called Kodak support and had to upgrade firm software and reset all the settings to reflect whether I had an answering machine (yes) and call waiting (no). Also found it helpful sometimes to dial out using commas after the 1, to keep it from ringing busy.
