SOURCE: putting the tv stand back on the tv

these are removal instructions should be helpful though

Open up the panel on the back of the TV which covers the various input connections. At the bottom of the area previously covered, there are 8 screws (two rows of four screws). Remove them, and the entire stand should now slide right out of the TV. You can then replace the screws back in their holes, so you don't lose them. You do not need to disassemble the stand to do this.

SOURCE: remove stand from LG 50PC5D

There are four screws in the back of the TV above where the stand is. Inbetween the screws is a metal handle that pulls out. These four screws need to be removed and the metal handle pulled out. Then the TV will come off the stand.974336c.png

SOURCE: How to disengage the stand from an LG 42PC5D

When I tried to do the same I took the same approach but could not pull the stand - is there another safety pin or something like that?
I took out two screws from the back that had been holding the metal top of the stand inside the panel - but when I try to lift panel off it does not move!

Cant find how to remove the stand on our newly purchased Soniq QSL323CT1 anywhere in the manual. We are trying to mount it on the wall.

Hi,
1. Disconnect all cables.
2. Cover a level and stable surface with a thick and soft cloth.
3. Gently lay the TV, face down, onto the cloth. Make sure the Table-Top stand is hanging over the edge.
4. Rotate the cable holder 90 degrees, and pull it out completely.
5. Remove the screws (3 or 4 in rear next to cable holder, depending on which model wall-mount kit you have) being sure to hold the Table-Top-Stand firmly while removing the last screw.
6. Do not remove any other screws from the TV.
They also say not to remove the stand for any reason other than wall-mounting the TV. Their should be instructions with the wall-mount kit.
Hope this helps!
Thanks
Smith.

52LG70 sometimes turns off and on periodically

I had the same problem. I changed the 4-3 setting on the motorola cable box. Turn off your cable box and press menu. My 4-3 setting was set to auto. If you turn it off, you lose the 4-3 aspect on most channels. I changed mine to 480p and so far it seems to be working. Worth a shot.

Lg lcd tv screen goes black but the sound still works 52lg70 screen goes blank, sound still works. i can change settings but cannot see the menu so the tv is still working there is just no picture.

This sounds like a mainboard problem. Unless you do not see a back light flash when you turn on the TV, which may mean it is an inverter board problem, this is most likely fixable by replacing the mainboard.

Replacement stand

Get/measure/mark spacing of mounting screws.
Punch through paper sheet if necessary.
Measure clearance required to wall.
Find out how much TV weighs.
Search places that sell generic stands, such as E-bay, hardware stores, Hi-Fi retailers, etc.
Match to fit or re-drill holes.
