You can easily change the time of your Timex watch by following the steps below.

1. With the time and date showing, press the top left button.

2. Press the right top button (this sets seconds).

3. Press the bottom left button. This flashes the hour; press the top right button until you have the correct hour (there is no symbol for am, pm will show if pm).

4. Press the bottom left button, minutes flash. Press the top right button until correct minutes.

5. Press the bottom left button, month flashes. Press the top right button until correct.

6. Press bottom left button, date flashes. Press the top right button until correct.

7. Press bottom left button, day flashes. Press right top button until correct.

8. Press bottom left button, time format flashes (can be set to 24 hour clock). If correct, you're done. Press top left button if you're done (can be pressed at any step if you're finished).

To turn off the chime and alarm: Press bottom left until in the alarm screen. Then press the top right button repeatedly until the CHIME or CH symbol is gone and/or ALARM or ALM to disappear, then press the bottom left button to go back to main time.

Automatic watches are spring driven and therefore do not have a battery.

Automatic watches thrive on being used and if you do not wear them sufficiently, they will run down and stop (or perhaps they run slowly before stopping).

Your watch should run for 38 hours before stopping.

Press and hold the top left button until the seconds digits flash, indicating that you have accessed the time-setting screen. Press the bottom right button to reset the seconds to "00" and then press the bottom left button to advance the flashing to the hours digits. Adjust the hours digits to the desired time using the top and bottom right buttons. Press the bottom left button to advance the flashing to the minutes digits, and set them to the desired time with the top and bottom right buttons. Press the top left button to exit the time-setting screen.

Usually there is a small indentation on a watch that can be lifted with a thin flat pointed item (not sharp). I have used the tiniest screwdriver I was able to find to open mine which opened with a bit of pressure. The indents are very hard to see but are usually at the top or bottom of the watch.

If it is a VISTA or a LYNX then it doesn't matter as the transformer puts out AC current instead of DC. This is done so you can have very long wire runs of very thin wire without causing problems.

Think of your house power, it comes from the high tension lines over many dozens of miles and they power entire city sections (AC-Power). But if you're on DC (when the poles matter) such as in a car, you'll then need a HUGE wire just to run a subwoofer amplifier by itself. Yet power tools can run on a 50' extension cord that's 1/4 the thickness and be fine! the AC power delivery is much more efficient in that respect, and alarm systems usually have wire runs that span the whole house and they're usually all around 18 to 22 guage wire (very thin) to save on installation costs...

If u re on the kick stand of your scooter there is a vacumn line that connects the main carb and also the one near the black fuel inreacher. Mine is cut and the front hose is open. the back one id okugged. this indicates that the fuel enricher is not working. Scooter runs great, sarting is good but not great.

Hi, this is easy to do what you need is a sharp knife then the back of the watch will have a case on it smaller than the watch you will see its raised and has an edge running all the way round. Sometimes their is a tiny recess running along the top or bottom of this cover this is to put knife into to pry the back off, not all watches have this. If yours dont then get sharp knife and pry the cover off from either the top or bottom it can be tight but get the knife so your putting pressure on to lift the cover up. The cover is only pushed in and it clips in so their is nothing holding it down.
Just keep prying it with a thin sharp knife untill the back lifts off it shouldnt be that difficult but just use thin knife and keep working it so as to lift the back cover off the watch.
This will give you access to the battery and once replaced the back just pushes on by hand push it on hard as this seals it from water and dust.
