Please see that your memory card is not crowded with media files, that only safe scanned files are loaded.
See that you are not receiving through bluetooth files from other cameras which is corrupting the software.
Also check your inbox messages, delete offf any media messages.
When this happens remove battery, memory card and replace only battery back after some time till the software loads and corrects, then put the memory ( have it scanned in your laptop for any virus)
It is possible the battery itself has wore out. They have a limited amount of time they can be recharged. Does the unit run while the charger is plugged in??
You may still have a battery fault, and the only way you'll find out is to buy or borrow an external charger such as the Sony BC-VC10. Buying a new battery won't solve it as they're supplied uncharged.
If you live in the UK and can post the battery to me I'll try to recharge it for you and will post it back afterwards.
BTW: Is your battery a genuine Sony InfoLITHIUM C, model number NP-FC11?
Hi there Try resetting the CMOS either by removing the battery from the motherboard for 20 mins and make sure the power cord is removed from the back of the machine. When you put the battery back you will have to set the time and date again
i called iriver support 714 619 5260 and the company that does tech support for them emailed me a detailed description with pictures of how to repair my h10 20 gig. they said that if i sent it in to iriver it would be 80+ dollars but that i could buy a battery and replace it myself if i followed these steps. havent tried it yet but will.
This PDA is relatively difficult to take apart. I've done it myself and it was very difficult. It is not recommended by any means because you can seriously mess up your ipaq by taking it apart. On the site I gave you after you buy and receive the replacement backup battery, if you do it yourself, will give you a site to get instructions from. You can also send it in to have it done professionally.
