I have a jbl bpx 500.1 amp and when I hook it all up and power it on the blue power light comes on and stays on but get no sound?

Actually I buy them in lots of 1000 and I pay 38 cents each for them. They are 24k gold plated. They are the real deal. If you do the math you can see I do not make much of a profit at all on them.

Check the voltage at the amp. It's possible that the voltage is either too high (above 16V) or too low (below 8.5V). Also make sure that the amp case is not grounded. If these check out OK, the most likely cause is that the amp itself is defective and requires service.

if it goes in protect mode means ur amp is turn up to high or it is over heating so it protectn it from fryn ur amp try to adjust it down

might have roasted your speakers voice coils a little which may be sending the amp into protect mode throw a speaker on it that you know works and if it doesnt trigger the protect circuit then you probably have a blown or almost sub.
