PRE-SEASON SMOKER PRIOR TO FIRST USE.

Some smoke may appear during this time, this is normal.

1. Make sure water pan is in place with NO WATER.

2. Set temperature to 275°F (135°C) and run unit for 3 hours.

3. During last 45 minutes, add ½ cup of wood chips in chip loader to complete pre-seasoning. This

amount is equal to the contents of a filled chip loader.

4. Shut down and allow to cool.

NOTE: Never add more than ½ cup (1 fi lled chip loader) at a time. Additional chips should not be

added until any previously added chips have ceased generating smoke.

Why does smoke come out of the top of a new cooker near the vents at the top ?

The first time you fire up a new oven you bake on the coatings, and the remaining solvents and chemicals get released. It's normal, and just part of the paint curing process.

The cooker clicks over to "keep warm" before the

You're probably using too much water. Rice cooks primarily while sitting in hot water, not while its boiling. That's why the cooker switches to Keep Warm so quickly. The correct way to cook rice is to pre-soak the rice for about 30 minutes, drain to get rid of the excess starch, combine the rice and cold water and bring the water to a boil and turn off the heat and let it stand for 15-30 minutes. That's why*- rice cookers take 45 minutes or more.

The glass panel on the inside of my oven door has fallen out. Also, the oven takes ages to heat and it's almost impossible to roast potatoes........just does not get hot enough. This is a separate problem...

I know that you state the oven not heating up properly pre-dates the problem with the door. However I would recommend that your replace that sheet of glass as a partial oven door will impact the performance of your cooker. Here's our guide to fixing up an oven door:

If the oven is still taking forever to heat up most likely it's a problem with the thermostat or the element. You should check them both for continuity (with the cooker uplugged) and do a visual assessment for any loose wiring that could be contributing to the issue.

Ronson slow cooker don't know which is high or low

on setting 1 (low),the slow cooker can operate all day and night if required

when set to 2 (high) it is very much like a covered pot on the stove.food will cook in half the required time

AUTO the slow cooker will cook on 2 (high) until the food reaches a pre-set temperature, then switches to 1(low) and maintains a constant slow cooking temperature.Auto is ideal for someone who is leaving the house for the day 8-9 hours please feel free to share this information. If you have any more ? please fell free to contact me.
