Of your Cummins diesel generator won't generate electricity or any problems, please follow the guide below to fix it.
1. Wrong connection of generator set. Processing: check and correct by wiring diagram.
2. Generator speed is too low. Processing: measuring speed and keeping it at rated value.
3. The connection between the stator winding and the generator distribution equipment has sludge or oxide, the connection screw is loose, the connection wire is broken, and the stator winding is broken. Handling: use a multimeter or lamp test method to find out where the wire is broken. Check the connection and contact of each connection screw.
4. Excitation circuit broken or bad contact. Processing: use multimeter to identify broken wire and reweld the broken wire to bind insulation.
5. Rectifying tube (including rectifier diode, thyristor) is damaged. Treatment: replace damaged parts.
6. Brush contact with slip ring bad or brush pressure is not enough. Treatment: clean the surface of the slider ring, polish the brush, make it match with the surface of the slider ring, increase the brush pressure.
7. Brush grip rusts, brush can not slide up and down. Treatment: wipe the inner surface with a cloth brush, if damaged, should be replaced.
8. Cummins generator exciter brush position is incorrect, brush damage or spring pressure is not enough. Handling: adjust the brush to the correct position, replace the brush, adjust the spring pressure.
9. The prime mover rotates in the wrong direction. Processing: changes the rotation direction of the prime mover.
10. Cummins generator exciter winding wiring error, polarity reverse. Handling: correct winding connection and recharge magnetic with dry battery and battery according to its polarity.

You have a problem in the fuel pump relay circuit for sure then. I'm betting the relay, but it could be that dropping resistor.

SOURCE: 1992 Mitsubishi lancer GLXI check engine light sensor appear

Well the sensors are reporting a failure in the engine/transmission. So either they are right or wrong has to be assessed by the nature of the alarms or sensor faliure, but the problem remains, hence if all primary steps of investigation start by hooking up to a PC specially built to rectify such problems. This facility is available at most of the gas service stations/centers..................sodeep

My alternator went out yesterday. I was told that I have a fuse and to check it first but I am unable to locate it in any of my fuse box. Does a 2005 Chevy Impala have an alternator fuse????

The red wire from starter, at the alternator, hot all the time. The orange wire at alternator, hot all the time. Use a test light on those wires, if hot, I don't think it is a fuse? Your owners manual should have the fuse layout.

Charging system voltage low

there are only 3 parts. but the causes are 25 or more.
1: belt missing slipping,
2: engine rpm below 800 RPM (lots of ways ,ask )
3: ALT had.
4: wiring to ALT bad.
5: bad battery or its connections, (wires)
6: bad fuse. see fuse link a11? on fFM page 20?
7: car is PCM alt controlled, it can be bad too. see 2 field wires on ALT and PCM on page 20? below?
8: battery temp sensor bad. making PCM think battery overheats.
the fSM covers all tests above.

pick car here, then pick charging.

I have a hard brake peddel almoust have to stand on them what could this be

You no longer have vacuum assistence. The brake master cylinder is mounted on the brake booster which uses vacuum generated by the engine to "help" you push the brake pedal. On diesel engines there is normally a vacuum pump on the rear of the alternator which generates this vacuum. On petrol engines the vacuum is generated by the engine itself. Follow the pipe from the booster to the inlet manifold or alternator(diesel) and check for leaks along the whole length and at the joints. Replace the pipe if leaking. If no leaks are found the booster needs replacing. If you have a diesel engine, check the operation of the vacuum pump first before replacing the booster. Make sure the alternator is turning(belt in place) at idle. Disconnect the pipe at the rear of the alternator and hold a piece of paper over the pump opening to check operation. Do not use your hand as this will result in injury even with the engine at idle. Replacing the booster will see you upside down under the dashboard swearing, pleading and begging because that's where the bolts are that hold the booster in place. The master cylinder needs to be removed from the booster before the booster can be pulled from the engine bay.

Vtm & check engine light on same time vehicle idles 25K, 2001 MDX

Im not quite sure about the lights but when changing the alternator the battery cables would have been off resetting the settings in the engine computer. let it run for a little bit to get readjusted and it should idle down on its own and be fine.
