I have a Honeywell RTH6580WF Wi-Fi Thermostat that has "Cool On" or "Heat On" flashing. I watch it run it course and then it acts like it resets the thermostat and starts over. Its in an endless loop. I replaced the Dual Run Capacitor thinking that was the issue and it ran fine for an hour and went back into the "Heat On" flashing.
SOURCE: my honeywell thermostat has a flashing message of (bat lo) what does this mean?
Replace the batteries...should be double A's
SOURCE: How do I change the battery on Honeywell Thermostat T8001C?
According to the manual for the model series (see link), only the T8002 Model has batteries. They are accessed from the right side of the thermostat. See page 14.
